Spend Time with Him
C. S. Lewis wrote: “The moment you wake up each morning your wishes and hopes for the day rush at you like wild animals. And the first job of each
morning consists in shoving them all back; in listening to that other voice, letting that other, stronger, larger, quieter life come flowing in.”
Here’s how the psalmist began his day: “Every morning, I tell you what I need, and I wait for your answer” (Psalm 5:3).
Spend time waiting on God. And, at the end of the day, thank God for the good parts. Question Him about the hard parts. Seek His mercy. Seek His
strength. And as you close your eyes, take this assurance into your sleep: “He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.” (Psalm 121:4).
If you fall asleep as you pray, don’t worry. What better place to doze off than in the arms of your Father.

Next Generation Leadership Conference
This Leadership Conference is taking place in Gander
on April 26th – 28th. If you are a leader in
children’s ministry and would like to attend

Water Baptism Service – Sunday, March 24th
If you are interested in being baptized in water, pick up
an info kit at the welcome desk and contact one of the
Pastors or the Church Office.
Library
The church Library is now open only after the morning
service.
Prime Time People
The Prime Time People will meet on Thursday, March 28,
2013, at 5:30 pm. Our speaker for the evening will be
Catherine Connolly, Lifeline Community Representative.
Tickets are on sale in the foyer today at a cost of $10.00
each. Come and enjoy an evening of inspirational
fellowship.
Gateway Project
The deadline for bringing in items for the Gateway
Project is Sunday, March 24th.

If you haven’t already received a copy of this DVD and

Boredom Busters (April 1 – 5, 2013)
The city of St. John’s Department of Recreation is
offering a variety of Boredom Busters for Pre-teens ages
9 – 12 years during the Easter holiday break. Choose
from a variety of half and full day activities to create a
fun filled Easter week. Some of the sessions include:
Geocaching, Ball Hockey, ‘Jam’ Session, Fitness,
Photography, and much more. For more information or

Good Friday Walk and Vigil March 29th
The Centre for Life invites the faith community to come
from 9:30 to 10:30 am to the west parking lot of the
Health Science parking lot to witness in a peaceful and
prayerful manner the sacredness, dignity and value of all
