FAITH AT HOME During recent weeks, we have watched worldevents with heavy hearts. In fact, for all of theseindividuals and families, our hearts are broken. A company called “Hearts of Hope” is planning
to create healing gifts for those who have sufferedunnecessarily. Would you like to help create hope? Forthose who would like to order kits and create gifts, we’llmake it easy. Your kits will come with all of the supplies youwill need, simply open the box and begin. This includesunpainted hearts, paints, brushes, message cards, ribbons, gift bags, a return shipping label, instructions and more. In addition, each kit will contain a checklist for you toindicate which group or groups you would like to honorand remember. They will it take it from there to assurethese are delivered as timely as possible and with anacknowledgement to you when deliveries are made.Ordering is easy at their website: ourheartsofhope.org. A donation is asked to cover our materials and returnshipping costs, but to help with this, we have extended our20% off current coupon code - SUMMER - through August15th. Hearts of Hope helps heal broken hearts. The Heartsof Hope family always answers the call, and are gratefulbeyond measure for the support you lend to help makethat happen. From their recent visit to Orlando, FL, theyknow these gifts help to heal broken hearts. The simple actof creating a small gift for someone in need, together witha genuine message of caring and hope, means the worldto the people who receive these. Maybe together as afamily you can participate in this project. I know howmuch I’m confused and upset on the recent events in ourcountry. I can just imagine how a child could be affected, especially when they only hear the news or their friendstalking. Why not take the time to make this a familyproject, and in doing so you can heal within your ownfamily and a family in need Enjoy the week! Lisa

LITURGY CORNERGrandparents are very special people and havespecial concerns. Jesus, like all of us, hadgrandparents, too. Sts. Joachim and Anne were theparents of Mary, the Mother of Jesus. In theChurch we celebrate their feast on July 26th. What powerful intercessors they are! Below is a
prayer for all Grandparents:
Heavenly Father,You gave Saints Joachim and Anne
the wonderful privilege of being the grandparents
of Christ, Your Son.Through their intercession, bring us,
our children and grandchildren, closer to the loving Heart of Your Son
who lives and reigns with Youand the Holy Spirit, one God
forever and ever.Amen.
Have a wonderful and joy-filled week.Happy feast day to all our grandparents! Lisa
