So you picked out the most beautiful tree on the lot...  Brought it home.. And

now you are nervous about keeping it alive until the Holidays.  Follow these

simple tricks compiled by our Arborists to ensure you evergreen stays green this

year: 

Give the tree trunk a fresh cut right when you bring it home

Put the tree outside in a bucket of cold water for one week

Spray all the needles with anti-desiccant (can be found at your local

nursery).  This seals the needles and prevents water loss.

Set up in a stand and then water, water and water some more!
