The following year, in 2009, again at the National Selection Regatta, Giuseppe surpassed his previous standing and placed second, capturing the silver medal, in the pair. 2010 proved to be a great year for Giuseppe, winning not only the Stewards’ Challenge Cup at the Henley Royal Regatta, but also taking the silver in the four at the 2010 Rowing World Cup in Munich and finishing sixth in the four at the Rowing World Cup stop in Lucerne. In 2011, Giuseppe returned to Lucerne to take the Bronze at the World Cup and in Bled, Slovenia, his team took 4th during the 2011 World Championships. Giuseppe continues a rigorous training schedule and he aims to qualify this coming spring for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
