INDUSTRIAL MODULE ASSEMBLY

HYDROTESTING

HIGH DEFINITION CUTTINGGIS oers the latest advances in HD Cutting Services — including both Plasma Cutting and Water Jet Cutting. With increased speeds up to 115 ipm and unmatched precision to 0.005” linear accuracy on a variety of mate-rials, GIS clients receive better cuts, reduced waste, and

cost reductions on their project needs.

With all pressure piping systems, the nal check of mechanical integrity is Hydrotesting. Before commis-sioning, all new or modied piping undergoes exten-sive testing to ensure the system not only meets, but

well exceeds ASME and client project requirements.

GIS’s 86,000 sq.ft. facility in Big Lake, Alaska specializes in heavy-haul truckable module fabrication, as well as the design, fabrication, and installation of entire man camps. We have the experience and capabilities to fulll the industrial needs of nearly any project our

clients demand.

PROJECT EXPERIENCEGIS

Employing 100 craft personnel for a 4-month duration, our Big Lake, Alaska division was recruited to construct a 64,450 sq.ft., 3-story housing project for Eni on the North Slope. The 86-module facility can house 203 persons in private bedrooms, and includes amenities such as cardio & weight rooms, lounge areas, laundry, and a full-service kitchen & dining area.

Statoil - Lark Ranch EastGIS utilized over 60 craft personnel at our 40 acre Pearsall, TX facility to complete the fabrica-tion, painting, hydrotesting and delivery of over 700 ICP spools, and over 1,900 welds for the Lark Ranch East inter-connecting piping project in less than 45 days. The project included all ICP for the complete facility build in the Eagle Ford Shale.

Noble Energy - Alen ProjectGIS completed the fabrication and load-out of a 320 ton Flash Gas Compression Module, and (3) 300 ton Power Generation Modules for Noble Energy. The Alen Project also utilized GIS’s Electrical & Instrumentation division, and was completed at our Abbeville, Louisiana yard. The project concluded with t-up and installation at its nal destination in Equitorial Guinea.

From the extreme conditions of North Slope, Alaska, to Mid-Continent onshore oper-ations, to shelf and ultra-deepwater oshore environments, GIS is equipped with the experience and the tools to meet our clients’ global needs − and do so in the most eective, ecient manner possible.

Eni North Slope - Man Camp

LIFE is the proactive, operational, and behavior-based component of GIS’s comprehensive safety management program. While our Corporate HSE group focuses on compliance, training, and incident response, the LIFE processes specically cover Operational Safety, through: comprehensive work planning; increasing awareness of work area & task risks; intervention techniques for redirecting at-risk behaviors; embedded eld presence; quarterly initiatives focused on observed areas of risk; and visible leadership engagement.

SAFETY | PUTTING PEOPLE FIRSTGIS

QUALITY | EXCEEDING STANDARDSGISGIS’s Quality Management System (QMS) is a stand-alone ISO-9001 certied process, the objectives of which are to demonstrate our ability to provide prod-ucts and services that meet customer and applicable statutory or regulatory requirements, and to enhance customer satisfaction through eective control of processes and continual improvement of systems.

Deepwater AccessGIS oers multiple strategic locations for deepwater access to the Gulf of Mexico. With our dock-side locations at Port Fourchon and Venice Port, Louisiana, fabri-cation components can be easily transported from the nearest GIS facility, receive their nal t-up at Shorebase, and complete the project delivery or utilize our Oshore crews for onsite eld installation.
