You Will Need-

Materials75g dk yarn ( I used acrylic for this – however, a wool, cotton, or mixed yarn may require more as cotton and wool are heavier fi bres) knitted with a dou-ble strand. (The nearest US equivalent weight is worsted weight).

Tools8mm crochet hook (US L/11).

Tension GaugeApprox 10sts to 12cm, 4rows to 8cm. Tension wil vary depending on tight-ness of crochet and yarn used. Slight variations are not important as the fi t is loose.

Abbreviationsch – chain, beg - begin(ning), sl st – slip stitch, sp(s) - space(s), tr – treble(US double crochet), st(s) - stitch(es), rem – remaining, lp - loop

InstructionsBase Chain: Using two strands of yarn together, very loosely chain 44. Join with sl st to make ringRow 1: Chain 3 (this will form the 1st st) , *1tr(US dc) into next ch sp. Continue from* until back at beg of row. Sl st into into top ch sp of 1st st of rowRow 2: Chain 3, *1tr(US dc) into next tr sp. Continue from* until back at beg of row. Sl st into into top ch sp of 1st st of row st into into 3rd chain of 1st st of row(See diagram below.)

4. Repeat Row 2, 10 times (total 12 rows) 4. Cut thread and slip through last rem st lp to fasten off.5. Sew in the two ends.
