Girl's Chrysalis flight #49 is quickly approaching (July 26-29) and we are eager to meet our caterpillars. After serving at

the boy's candlelight dinner and providing a touching skit, then attending candlelight that evening it reminded us how

blessed we are to be a part of the Walk to Emmaus. Closing for the boy's chrysalis was a beautiful testimony that God

renew hearts and changes lives through Chrysalis. It is such a valuable tool that God uses for his glory. Thank you com-munity for everything you did for the boys, your prayers, agape and most of all your bodies. Attendence was awe-

some. Thanks you so very much.

We do have some agape need for the Girl's Chrysalis. Please contact Maureen Mart in 432 664 5348 gift agape and Eliz-

abeth Carroll432 553 0098 food agape chairmans. Thrill them and call them before they have a chance to call you.

They have a list of our needs. Many things were left over from the boy's flight so you may need to bring something

different. Thanks.

We have 29 caterpilars at the present and are praying for a full fl ight of 36. God is good and he will bless each of these

girls.

soon, one of Hi Sky Em-maus's golf carts will need

Chrysalis Flight Drop-off and Candlelight Locations

Things to Remember for Chrysalis

All applications must be completedw/ payment and ALL required sig-natures form the proper legal par-ent or guardian, pastor, and allemergency contact information befilled out before the caterpillar willbe allowed to attend the walk. Allfees must be paid before the walkbegins also. (There are funds avail-

able, so if there is someone whoneeds funding, contact us/Wilmaand well get that worked out).

The registrar requests that the cat-erpillars and their guardian bothvisit them upon arrival to check-in. This will allow the registrar todouble check the information andemergency contacts for each cater-pillar before they are left in thecommunity's care.

Closing

Closing for the Girls Flight will be in the fireplace room of the Student Union

Building (Building 4 on the map above) at 4pm on Sunday.

Prayer Vigil

Watch the website in the next few days for a copy of the prayer vigil signup to

be posted. Once it is online, please take a moment to look at the empty slots

and signup for the places you can and will pray for the fight.

Remember

Cutoff for registration for all walks are on the Thurs-

day before the walk is scheduled to begin. This gives

those making agape time to personalize things like

nametags and allows for the time needed to order

specialized agape from vendors.

Help Wanted!

If you have given a talk on either a men's or women's

walk since August, 2008 could you give a copy to Jimmy

Smith? Our "example" pool is getting low. You can either

email or give a copy to a hard copy to Jimmy. His email

C elebrating 25 Y ears

This August is our 25th anniversary as a community. During the community gathering on August 28th, we will take time to cele-

brate this awesome milestone for the Hi-Sky Emmaus Community.

The board asks that all past lay directors help in this celebration by bringing their walk cross to the gathering.

Make plans to join us in fellowship and celebration of the work God has done through Hi Sky Emmaus in these past 25 years as

well as what He will do in the next 25!
