May 2008 is a special month for Giorry and for i ts founder Raghad Mizban. Raghad gave bir th to a very cute baby boy Emir. With the increased responsibi l i t ies and the need for a pract ical solut ion to carry al l of Emir ’s belongings, she was surpr ised at the lack of avai labi l i ty of fashionable baby bags, unchanged since the bir th of her beaut i fu l baby gir l Rana in July 2004. Not wi l l ing to compromise on pract ical i ty or s ty le Raghad set out to design the Giorry Classic Col lect ion.

Giorry bags are a true testament of the magic that is created when attent ion to detai l , creat iv i ty and s ty le are combined. Giorry is an old Mesopotamian word for a type of rose. Just l ike the rose, a l l of the Giorry bags are mult i - layered, and the basic phi losophy of Giorry is that i f you combine mult ip le bags in one you would achieve funct ional i ty, s ty le and beauty that wi l l make your unique Giorry bag journey with you at every s tage in your l i fe .
