The brand of choice for music royalty and fashion-forward consumers, Gio-Goi’s footwear collection reflects the brand’s long-term affinity with youth culture and street attitude. The Gio-Goi s/s 2012 collection of footwear for men features plenty of summer options, alongside the classic sportier styles. The range takes clear inspiration from the

clothing collection with colour palettes, detailing and graphics tying in with apparel throughout. Materials on the shoes have been borrowed from the brand’s vast denim collection and the gingham and chambray prints of the shirts.

Designed with Ibiza in mind, Gio-Goi has given its own sporty twist to key seasonal trends. Both espadrilles with their gingham lining and informal boat shoes feature flexible vulcanised rubber outsoles and apparel-inspired upper fabrics, creating a lightweight sporty look. A lace-up plimsoll has been introduced in a light blue chambray, a grey jersey fabric

and a stand-out denim, all directly borrowed from the apparel collection.

Summer options include a lightweight flip-flop/espadrille hybrid, ideal for last-minute holiday escapades. Back by popular demand, our blue and yellow flip-flop makes a welcome return. Meanwhile retro runner profiles and cupsole

trainers with an eighties-vibe still have an important role to play for our Trakstar consumer.
