Once upon a time, there were three gummy

bears that lived in a gingerbread house decorated

in gum drops and candy canes. One of them was

an itty bitty gummy bear that was purple in color,

one was a medium sized gummy bear that was

red in color, and the other was a huge gummy

bear that was blue in color.

Page 3: Gingerlocks and the Three Gummy Bears

On their kitchen table, they each had a bowl of freshly made frosting

cooked accordingly to their preference. One of the bowls of frosting was

extremely small for the itty bitty bear, one was medium sized for the medium

size momma bear, and one was huge for the big papa bear.

Page 4: Gingerlocks and the Three Gummy Bears

Each bear had a chair also made just for them. For itty

bitty gummy bear, there was an itty bitty chair made of tic-

tacs, for the momma bear, there was a chair made of

twizzlers and there was a chair made of candy cane for the

papa bear.

They each had a bed to sleep on, too. One itty bitty bed made of the tiniest

marshmallows, a medium sized bed made out of the softest marshmallows

possible, and an enormous bed made of marshmallows that had sat out far too long

and that were stiffer than a board.

Page 6: Gingerlocks and the Three Gummy Bears

One day after making frosting for breakfast and pouring it

into their correct bowls, they walked into the gum drop forest while

their frosting cooled, so that they would not burn their tongues.

While in the gum drop forest, a little gingerbread girl wandered in.

This gingerbread girl had golden frosting locks that went down to

her gumdrop buttons. Everyone knew her as Gingerlocks. She had

been on the way to visit her grandmother, but decided to take a

new route and became lost. After walking for quite a while, she

stumbled upon a gingerbread house. Surprised thinking she found

her grandmother’s house, she ran up to the door.

Page 7: Gingerlocks and the Three Gummy Bears

Gingerlocks went up to the house and knocked on the graham cracker door, but to her

surprise, her grandmother did not answer. After knocking on the door for a long time, she

decided it would be best to just walk in, as she thought that her grandmother was far too

busy to answer the door. When she walked in, she heard her tummy grumble, as she was

very hungry. Just then, she saw the bowls of frosting set out for the bears’ breakfast. She

then thought “Oh! How I wish to eat that frosting! I am starving!”

Page 8: Gingerlocks and the Three Gummy Bears

Gingerlocks should have been a patient girl and waited until the gummy bears returned, as then they

would have properly invited her to eat with them, since they were normally gentle and kind. While they could

be Sour Patch Bears, they were generally loving. However, Gingerlocks decided to be a little disobedient. She

went up to the three bowls of frosting and tasted the frosting out of Papa Bear’s large bowl. After tasting it,

she realized it was too sour! She then tasted the frosting from Momma Bear’s medium bowl, and soon realized

it was too sweet! Discouraged, she tried the frosting out of Baby Bear’s bowl. She soon realized that it was not

too sweet, not too sour, but just right. She enjoyed it so much that she ate it all up.

Gingerlocks then needed a chair to sit in while she was eating the perfect frosting. She first

sat down on the chair that was for the big gummy bear, which was far too hard for her. Next she

sat down on the middle size gummy bears chair and found that it was way too soft. Lastly, she sat

down on the chair that was meant for the itty bitty gummy bear and the chair was neither to soft

or hard, but it was perfect, so she sat on the itty bitty chair made of tic tacs until the tic tacs fell

apart. Once it fell apart, she laughed an evil laugh..

Gingerlocks was beginning to become very tired. With her tummy full, she made her way to the bedrooms. First,

she laid her ginger locks down on the bed made of marshmallows that had been left out far too long, which was made

for the big gummy bear, but the bed was far too big and hard. Gingerlocks then laid down on a bed that was medium

size, but it was far too soft. At last, she found a bed that was made of marshmallows that were just right, and had the

softest twizzler blanket.. In just seconds, she had fallen asleep to dream about gumdrops and frosting.

Page 11: Gingerlocks and the Three Gummy Bears

Just a few minutes after she had fallen asleep, the gummy bears had returned home to eat their frosting that was made

specifically for them. Gingerlocks had left a graham cracker spoon in the big gummy bear’s frosting, which was standing up directly in

the middle.

“SOMEBODY WAS EATING MY FROSTING!”Grumbled the Papa Bear in his sour voice..

When Mama Bear saw hers the exact same way, she said in her sour, but lighter voice “Someone was eating my frosting!”

Baby Bear then looked at his bowl of frosting, but in his, the spoon was in the bowl as it had been left,, but the bowl was

completely empty!

“Somebody was eating my frosting and has eaten it all up!” said Baby Bear in his wee sour voice..

Page 12: Gingerlocks and the Three Gummy Bears

After looking at their breakfast, they began to look around them to see if anything else was disturbed from its place They saw

that Gingerlocks had not put the hard cushion back when she got up from Papa Bear’s chair.

“SOMEBODY SAT IN MY CHAIR!” grumbled the Papa bear.

Gingerlocks had also squashed the twizzlers of the Mama Gummy Bear’s chair. The Mama Bear exclaimed, “Somebody has

been sitting in my chair, and now my cushions are not oh so cushiony .

Do you know what the silly little girl with ginger locks had done to the wee little bear’s chair? “Somebody sat in my chair and

broke it into pieces!”, said the wee little gummy bear.

Page 13: Gingerlocks and the Three Gummy Bears

The family of gummy bears then decided it would be best to continue look around the house to make sure nothing

else had been disturbed from its rightful place. They immediately went up the stairs to their bedrooms where their most

prized possessions were. The Papa Gummy Bear immediately saw that his gumdrop pillows were moved out of place!

“Somebody has been laying in my bed, said the very grump Papa Gummy Bear!

Gingerlocks had also bit out a piece of the Mama Gummy Bear’s covers. The Mama Gummy bear yelled in her

middle voice, “Somebody has eaten my twizzler blanket!“

Page 14: Gingerlocks and the Three Gummy Bears

When the wee Baby Gummy Bear went to look at his bed, the pillows and candy covers were in their place. On

the pillow, however, there laid ginger locks, along with the peaceful face of a little girl, fast asleep.

“Someone has been laying in my bed, and she is still here!”, exclaimed the itty bitty Baby Gummy Bear in his

itty bitty voice.

Page 15: Gingerlocks and the Three Gummy Bears

Gingerlocks then heard the mighty and sour voice of Papa Gummy Bear in her sleep, but she was so fast asleep

in the comfy bed that the sound was nothing but the sound of a whisper. She then heard Mama Gummy Bear speak,

but it only sounded as if it was her inner thoughts thinking away. When she heard the sound of the itty bitty, Gummy

Bear’s voice, it was so high and sour that it awoke her in an instant.

Page 16: Gingerlocks and the Three Gummy Bears

She immediately woke up and when she saw the grumpy faces of three gummy bears towering over her, she

was so frightened that she was afraid one her buttons would pop right off. In reality, however, the gummy bears

were actually as scared of her as she was of them.

Gingerlocks jumped out of the bed and ran as fast as her gingerbread legs would take her out of the house.

Page 17: Gingerlocks and the Three Gummy Bears

She ran and ran until she got to her grandmother's house. When she was telling her grandmother what happened, the

grandmother said, “My my, what a great story teller you are!”

Page 18: Gingerlocks and the Three Gummy Bears

Although Gingerlocks knew that what she said was true, her grandmother didn’t believe her. In the

case of the Gummy Bears, they learned to always lock their doors, just in case Gingerlocks ever ventured

near again and attempted to come back in and cause trouble. However, they need not worry about

Gingerlocks, she had learned her lesson and never went in anywhere she shouldn’t. Gingerlocks also

learned to never intruded a place that she wasn’t to be, unless the owner specifically invited her in.
