About Gillian Kyle

Gillian Kyle is a quirky Scottish design company with a passion for illustration and print. Gillian started her business in 2009 as a graduate of the Glasgow School of Art, with her debut range which celebrates iconic and beloved Scottish food brands such as the Tunnocks Teacake and Barr’s Irn Bru.

Combining hand-drawn illustration with high quality & functional products, she has created a fun range of gifts and accessories for you and your home. Everything is manufactured in Scotland and the UK using the best quality and most sustainable materials available (such as organic cottons and fine bone china). This means that we can bring you original, well-made and long-lasting products with the great story and confidence that comes from British craftsmanship.

The New ‘Local Heroes’ Range

Moving our sights away from iconic Scottish food, we’ve decided to honour iconic Scottish characters! Our new range, ‘Local Heroes’, is the result of a collaboration between Gillian and the young Glaswegian illustrator, Clare Forrest, and celebrates colourful characters past & present. The first designs from this range include: Robert Burns, Charles Rennie MacIntosh, Mary Queen of Scots, Alexander Graham Bell, Burke & Hare and Bonnie Prince Charlie.

The six designs come in four product types: fine bone china mugs, premium cotton tea towels, coasters and greetings cards. The combination of charming illustrations, vibrant colours and modern interpretations of these historical personalities bring them to life in this collection and we hope that you enjoy using them as much as we have enjoyed designing them!

Placing an order with Gillian Kyle

Orders can be placed with us by completing the attached order form and emailing it to hello@gilliankyle.com. If you would like to discuss the products further or would rather place an order over the phone, we would be more than happy to help and you can reach us in the studio on 0141 248 8702 between 9.30am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Gillian Kyle Terms of Business

• All new accounts will operate on a pro-forma basis - a 30 day credit account may be possible after initial orders but this is entirely at our discretion.

• Our minimum order value is £150 before VAT, and we will pay the carriage on orders over £200. Carriage is £10.

• We aim to deliver your order within 7 days. If there is going to be a delay on some items we will try our best to get the rest of the order to you more quickly.

• All of our products are available to purchase in multiples of 1 apart from the following: Mugs - sold in packs of 6 - minimum of 2 packs Cards - minimum of 6 per design - minimum of 2 designs

• As you would expect (and in compliance with our T&C’s) all items remain the property of Gillian Kyle Ltd until they have been paid for in full.

If you think a mistake has been made with your order at any stage please email us and we will look into it as quickly as possible.
