Baptized during today’s Worship service is Reid Steinhauer Fitzgerald, infant son of James and Megan Fitzgerald. Reid was born on August 15, 2018. We offer our congratulations and pray for God’s richest blessings upon Reid, our newest member of our St. Paul Lutheran family. His sponsors are Ben and Emily Berka, and Tyler Tonderum.

There will be a special Coffee Fellowship today in honor of Elmer and Marilyn Karley’s 65th wedding anniversary. Please join them to celebrate this joyous occasion.

Jocelyn Wollmuth and Alexander Iverson announce their intention to marry on October 27, and request your prayers as they begin their new life together.

Farewell and send-off for Richards: Wednesday, October 24, as part of our already scheduled Fall Festival, (5:30-6 p.m.) we will have a special time of farewell and prayer for Mark, Brenda, Faith, and Grant.

The Camp Committee’s Annual Spaghetti Supper will be here on Monday, October 29 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Spaghetti with sauce and meatballs, salad, French bread, dessert and beverages served. Free Will offering with proceed to help with Summer Camperships. Everyone is invited and bring your friends! There is a sign-up in the narthex for items needed for the meal.

Women’s Coats: There are some women’s coats hanging in the northeast entrance, please claim. If they have not been claimed in a month they will be donated to the Village Treasure Chest.

Furniture Dolly: IF you have borrowed the church’s dolly, please return.

New Members: We will be welcoming some new members this fall. Talk to Pastor Craig If you or someone you know is interested in joining.

Middle School Recharges at Camp! Weekend retreats at Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camp are called Recharges. Scheduled for these are in mailboxes of our Middle School youth. Middle school funds will cover half the registration fee for any youth who want to go. See Pastor Craig or Tami for more information. There are many ac-tivities happening at Ingham Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camps. Check out their website, www.okoboji.org, to see what might interest you!

The following volunteer sign-up sheets for 2018 Open Dates, located on the balcony staircase bulletin board. Radio Broadcast: November 4; December 9, 16, 30. The Radio Broadcast fee is $80. Flowers On The Altar: October 28; November 4, 11, 18; December 9, 16, 23, 30.

Please join us for the Memory Loss Support Group Meeting on October 25 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sanford Senior Care Center. The program will be on Stress Management.

Coats For Kids - Sheldon Ministerial Association's Coats For Kids giveaway on November 3 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Sheldon Community Building. Set-up: St Paul will handle the set-up for the giveaway. This needs to happen Friday in the basement of the community building at 11:00 a.m. Coats will be delivered from Bubbles by their staff. Let Pastor Craig know if you’re able to help.

Love In the Name of Christ child care: St. Paul has be asked to provide child care on Thursday evenings, October 25 and November 1, for the families who attend their Loving Help classes. This is from 6:05-7:45 p.m. those evenings, at the Methodist Church. A sign up sheet is in the narthex.

A suggestion box is located in the back of the sanctuary for suggestions and ideas for the Church Council.

Pastor’s OFFICE Hours - Pastor Craig’s schedule varies from day-to-day, but every Tuesday afternoon he will be in the office from 1:00-5:00 p.m. for drop-in visits.

St. Paul has an ongoing mission started by our youth to support Lensley Raymond from Simonette, Haiti. This sponsorship will help with his school expenses each year. If you would like to make a donation towards Lensley’s school tuition through your offering, there is a dedicated fund set up (Touch of Hope Haiti).

The Sibley Christian Reformed Church invites you to the concert of the Gospel Gold Quartet on Sunday, October 28 at 3:00 p.m. in the Christian Reformed Church. Invite your friends to join you to hear their message.

Sheldon Immanuel Christian Reformed Church presents The Judson University Worship Choir on Thursday, November 1 at 7:30 p.m. Please join us before the concert for a Smoked Pork Loin Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Free Will Donation for Immanuel’s Youth Group.
