Dr. Leonie Kronborg will travel from
Australia to deliver a keynote discussingwhat the research evidence revealsregarding teacher education andeducating gifted students with asupportive learning environment. Shewill also address the social andemotional needs of these students.
Dr. Leonie Kronborg is a Senior Lecturerand Co-ordinator of PostgraduateStudies in Gifted Education in theFaculty of Education, Monash University,
Australia.
Dr. Leonie Kronborg is a Senior Lecturer andCo-ordinator of Postgraduate Studies in GiftedEducation in the Faculty of Education, MonashUniversity, Australia. Her research interestshave focused on education of gifted students,teacher education, talent development andgender. She coordinates a Gifted Educational
Advisory Service for parents and teachers ofgifted children at the Krongold Centre,Monash University. She is a past president ofthe Australian Association for the Education ofGifted Children and is the elected AustralianExecutive Member of the World Council forGifted and Talented Children, 2013-2017. Sheis on the Editorial Board of the Gifted andTalented International Journal and theAustralasian Journal of Gifted Education. DrKronborg was awarded the Monash UniversityVice-Chancellors Award for TeachingExcellence in 2013.

Dr. Inderbir Sandhu holds a PhD inEducational Psychology (Gifted Education)from the University of Cambridge, UK. She hasbeen working with individuals of high abilities(gifted) since 1996. Her expertise is inIntelligence Testing, Creativity Testing, GiftedEducation Consulting (assessment, curriculumdevelopment, counselling), Training in GiftedEducation & Creativity, Critical Thinking.
