Geomorphology

► The soil is brown and black in colour

comprising of sandy-clay-loam. Due to

the presence of clay in the soil, the

permeability is low to moderate.

► The pH value in the study area is

neutral varying in the range of 7.09 to

7.58.

► The bulk density and porosity is found

to be varying in the range of 1.40 to

1.44 g/cc and 20% to 53% respectively.

► The moisture content varies from 1.12

to 4.42%.

► The average elevation is 99 m above

mean sea level.

► The natural gradient is towards Karad

River in North direction.
