Children picnicked on vintage quilts spread on the lawn and played bocce ball and croquet. During the reception, Delta Gamma sorority sisters serenaded the bride with a sentimental song. Earlier in the year, Traci had told event planner, Lindsay Gibson of Gibson Events that she wanted a wedding like “The Great Gatsby,” and she delivered! The couple would not have even attempted having a large wedding without her expertise. Thanks to photographers Christian and Brandi Traina, the couple and their families have gorgeous photos to remind them of the day. Traci is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s in letters and is an IRB Research Coordinator at the OU Health Sciences Center. Brent is pursuing a master’s in landscape architecture at the University of Oklahoma. Following the wedding, the bride and groom honeymooned at Chatelet de Campo in Corsica, France, with additional stops in Nice and at the Grand Prix in Monaco. M. Their friend Eric Thompson officiated the ceremony. Traci is the daughter of Don and Guyanne Brannon. Brent is the son of Deborah and George Ferguson and Johnnie and Veralyn Wall. Traci chose a Melissa Sweet gown of ivory guipure lace over organdy with light beading at the neckline and tiered skirt of collaged laces, paired with an ivory pure silk veil. The beautiful bouquet was made of cream roses and lily of the valley. The bride’s aunt, Lorraine Calame of Vancouver read the poem, “I Carry Your Heart with Me” by E.E. Cummings, and the couple exchanged their vows. The reception followed across the street at the Oklahoma Heritage Museum’s garden. The ceremony, reception and cake were decorated with antique milk glass compotes from the bride and wedding coordinator’s personal collections. The groom designed and arranged the flowers himself, filling the compotes with garden roses, dahlias, kumquats, berzillia, hypericum and clematis vine. Earlier in the year, Traci had told event planner, Lindsay Gibson of Gibson Events that she wanted a wedding like “The Great Gatsby,” and she delivered! The couple would not have even attempted having a large wedding without her expertise.
