REAL NAME: James “Logan” Howlett SIGNIFICANT APPEARANCE: The Incredible Hulk #181 (1974)BACKGROUND: Though his past was mysterious to others (and himself) for a long time, it has been revealed that he was born in Alberta, Canada in the 19th century. Wolverine is a mutant with keen senses, enhanced physical abilities, and a mutant healing factor that allows him to recover from virtually any wound. He fought in World War I, spent time in Madripoor, married several times, and has a son Daken. In World War II, he teamed up with Captain America. A few decades ago, he was kidnapped by the Weapon X program who laced his bones with Adamantium.
