It was a stormy and foggy night on the remote Tatoosh island off of the Olympic Peninsula

14 year old Nathan was working at the lighthouse when the fog parted for a moment and he saw stunned-looking sailors

In the morning, Nathan discovered the ship got wrecked and there were no survivors.

You’ll like it because the story takes place here in Washington on the Olympic Peninsula in the 1870s

The book won the Edgar Allen Poe Award for Best Mystery
