that there exists another source of salvation other than calling on the name of

God. This is the end of time that had been foretold. It is a time that had often

been foretold. It is a time in which all the inhabitants of this earth should go to

God on bended knees. It is therefore practically unprofitable and sheer waste

of time, energy, and money for any man to go to the native doctor, soothsayer,or medical doctor for cure or salvation. SEEK AFTER GOD AND GO TO

HIM URGENTLY AND ON BENDED KNEES. GO TO GOD WITH ALL

YOUR PROBLEMS FOR HE WILL NOT FAIL TO ANSWER YOU.

Whatever diagnosis a physician, a necromancer, or a seer may come up with

as regards your problem, is false; and the solution to your problem lies not

with them. THE ONLY SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM OF MANKIND

LIES IN SEEKING FOR GOD. GO TO HIM ON BENDED KNEES AND IN

SUPPLICATION AND WITH A PENITENT HEART, FOR HE WILL

SURELY RECEIVE YOU. YOU SHOULD PROSTRATE BEFORE HIM

AND CONFESS YOUR SINS FOR HE ALONE IS CAPABLE OF

FORGIVING YOU. No physician or native doctor or seer, can answer you

when you are faced with problems. None of them can forgive you your

transgression or change you. Only the Holy Spirit is capable of doing this. GO

TO GOD FOR HE ALONE HAS THE ANSWER TO ALL YOUR

PROBLEMS. Mankind has rebelled against his Creator, becoming the

Biblical prodigal son. The parable of Our Lord Jesus Christ has thus been

fulfilled this day. It is high time we all turned to God or else it will be too late.

This is not a period to request for mundane things. Now is time for us all to

present ourselves before God and ask Him to use us in accordance with His

Will. This is the time of mercy, and the door of compassion has been flungopen to mankind. The end of time is drawing nigh and repentance might be

rather late for any man who fails to take this opportunity.

THE SOURCE OF YOUR PROBLEM

Your problems do not come from your parents, husband, wife, children,

community, or government, but the sins you commit and you have refused to

refrain from. Our Lord Jesus Christ did illustrate it well in the parable of the

prodigal son. A certain man had two sons. One day, the younger of the two

sons met his father and requested for his own share of the father's

inheritance. His father obliged and gave him his share accordingly. After

taking it, the son departed to a strange land. There, he squandered the whole

wealth in drinking, smoking, enjoying with women generally, and living a

deplorable life. He eventually exhausted the whole money and begged to be

given remnants of food usually thrown to pigs.

One day after much suffering, he regained his senses and remembered his

Father's estate with many labourers, and how he used to feed them. So he

finally resolved to return to his father. He summoned up courage to go to hisfather on bended knees and with a penitent heart. He said:" I will arise and go

to my father and will say unto him, father, I have offended against heaven and

before thee, I am not worthy to be called thy son, but take me back as one of

your hired servants. (Luke 15:11-12).

It is therefore the height of insolence and disregard for anyone to ask God to

give him a child, wife, husband, money, or anything. MAN SHOULD

ALWAYS BE PRAYING TO GOD FOR FORGIVENESS OF HIS SINS,

BECAUSE MAN HAS DERAILED FROM THE PATH OF RECTITUDE

AND MAN HAS FALLEN SHORT OF GOD'S GRACE. WHAT WE

SHOULD DO DAILY IS TO CONFESS OUR SINS AND ASK GOD FOR

HIS FORGIVENESS.

That is exactly what is expected of all human beings, irrespective of your race

and color. This too is the cause of untold hardship and suffering in the world

today. The present situation of things in the world is the result of God's

presence on earth. HE WANTS THE ENTIRE HUMANITY TO WORSHIP

HIM WITH PENITENT HEARTS. Let no man contemplate suicide as a

solution to the present situation in the world. Do not think of running away

from your country to any other place because He is everywhere. Whether you

climb to the peak of a mountain, or go into the abyss, there is no salvation for

you except you come to God on bended knees. None of these things and placeshold salvation for man. IF YOU COME TO HIM WITH A PENITENT

HEART, HE WILL SURELY WIPE AWAY BOTH YOUR SINS AND

TEARS. FOR HE IS GOD OF MERCY AND COMPASSION AND HE IS

EVER READY AND WILLING TO FORGIVE ANYONE WHO IS

PENITENT. If any person should trace your problems to juju, witchcraft,

apparition, mermaid, or any evil force, do not believe. THE REAL SOURCE

OF YOUR PROBLEM IS YOUR SINFULNESS. The people of the world are

so afflicted because they have forsaken God and stood far away from Him.

As the heaven is higher than the earth, so also is God's wisdom beyond human

comprehension. (Isaiah 55:9) The first lesson states clearly that man is the

architect of his fate. It is also stated in the scripture that:FOR WHOM THE

LORD LOVETH HE CHASTENETH,AND SCOURGETH EVERY SON

WHOM HE RECEIVETH.Hebrews 12:6

No person, therefore can get into the house of a strong man and plunder his

goods except he binds his hands and legs first. Therefore God has not only

bound the hands and legs of the entire inhabitants of the world, but He has

also sealed their eyes and ears.

Both the white and black races claim to be wiser than God and some claim

that God does not exist at all. The question is: "Are men able to detect the

source of their affliction?" Those who claim to be God, have they been able to

provide solutions to the world's problems? Can you imagine God's patience

and mercy?

The whites have tried their utmost to create a human being and other things

far beyond their knowledge. This explains why they(the whites), arrogate to

themselves the status of gods and would not believe that God exists at all.

No man takes God and His affairs seriously. People keep on enlisting the help

of secret societies and cults, in search of powers. They research into various

spheres, scientifically and spiritually, but to no avail. These are mere exercises

in futility. They can never get any meaningful solutions to the real problem

that way.

Church denominations are founded all over the world. Some are named after

families that founded them. But has that provided the solution to man's

problems? All these things that men do are meant to glorify themselves.

Neither the church denominations nor any group of people have provided anysolutions to the world's problems.

When God deemed it fit to send His only begotten Son to earth, he first of all

sent John the Baptist as His forerunner. Man had fallen short of God's glory

and grace. That was why He sent His only begotten Son to come and shed His

precious blood for the remission of man's sins and to draw man close to God.

Christ Himself did say: "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for

you that I go away, for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you;

but if I depart, I will send Him unto you." (John 16:7).

He also said in another passage: "I have many things to say unto you, but ye

cannot bear them now. Howbeit, when he, the spirit of truth is come, he will

guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he

shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will show you things to come. He shall

glorify me; for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you. All things

that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I that he shall take of mine and

shall show it unto you." (John 16:12-15).

How many church denominations and individuals have practiced the

injunctions of Our Lord Jesus Christ? Rather, mankind is busy with learning

things of the world- carnal teachings that would lead him only to destruction.

It is worthy of note that money, knowledge of science and technology or secret

societies cannot bring salvation to mankind. This time is hard and

unfavorable for anybody who wishes to continue in disobedience and

sinfulness. It is really pathetic that the inhabitants of the world have eyes but

cannot see, they have ears, but they cannot hear, and they have minds but

they cannot think. Man thus is ignorant of what is happening around him. He

has failed to give a thought to the events around him and their causes.

Take this message to all the corners and to all countries of the world. Take it

to the blacks, the whites, young or old, rich or poor; take it to the weak, the

strong and to the governments all over the world. They should be informed

that they themselves are the sources of their problems; that they have

forsaken God who created heaven and earth and all the things therein. As a

result of this disobedience, God has personally tied the hands and legs of man.

Man must surrender to his Creator, recognize and worship Him. In order to

have peace, it is a must that man should listen to the instructions of God and

carry them out. Man should pray fervently for himself.

THE REIGN OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

This is the reign of the Holy Spirit which is built on love, truth, peace,

perseverance, mercy, and all the virtues. People continue to steal, quarrel,

fight, and kill, indulge in idolatry and live abominably. Do you not know that

now is the reign of the Holy Spirit which is built on love? It is stated in the

scripture that: Where there is no vision the people perish.. (Proverbs 29:18).

Therefore, this is a golden opportunity for all to hearken to His clarion call

and repent. The entire world is still filled with sins. That is why the people are

now tied both hands and legs in order to bring them to submission.

Governments, business organizations, churches and indeed the entire

inhabitants of the earth are rendered weak and incapacitated. Instead of

progress, there is now retrogression as a result of the disobedience of

mankind. Famine, diseases, wars and various pestilences are the order of the

day, far beyond the understanding of man. Nobody knows the solutions to

these problems. THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE: LET US ALL TURN TO GOD

ON BENDED KNEES AND WITH PERTINENT HEARTS, FOR HE WILL

SAVE US.

Meetings and conferences are held daily the world over and decisions are

taken, yet, there is no solution. Researches are done and treatises written on

various problems, yet the problems are far from any solution. All these efforts

are in vain. THE ONLY SOLUTION TO MAN'S PROBLEM IS GOD

HIMSELF WHO GIVES SALVATION AND PEACE.

Are people not aware of the fact that their suffering and predicaments are

clear indication of God's displeasure with human activities? For man to

experience peace and joy and prosperity, he must flee from evil and refrain

from sins. The academics, the technocrats and scientists are at their wits end.

The soothsayer and seers cannot predict or foretell anything meaningful.

Industries all over the globe are folding up. What is responsible for all these?

It is a clear indication of God's hand in the affairs of man and a manifestation

of His wrath upon the world.

The only solution for man is to retrace his steps by going back to God his

Creator. Whatever man is experiencing now is the tip of the iceberg, in other

words, it is a police action because, the real calamity is yet to come. Withdraw

your membership of secret societies, refrain from stealing, smoking, drinking,

and other forms of vices, AND GO TO GOD WITH A PENITENT HEART.Nobody should waste his time and energy condemning another person or

church denomination. That alone is like adding salt to injury.

God has not taken the people of the world unawares with the situation they

find themselves. These are the things that have long been spoken of. If you

refer to the gospel, you will see everything clearly stated by God that, He

would shake both the heavens and the earth at the close of the age.

THEREFORE DO NOT GO TO ANY PERSON, SEEKING FOR

SALVATION, FOR HE, THE HOLY SPIRIT, HAS INCAPACITATED

EVERYBODY, AND HE HAS RENDERED HUMAN KNOWLEDGE

USELESS. RE-EXAMINE YOUR LIFE AND WAYS NOW.

WHERE ARE THE MEN OF VALOR?

Where are the mighty men of the world today? Where are the most powerful

witch-doctors and necromancers? Where are the world's eminent scientists,

astrologers, the economists and the world leaders? Have they been able to

provide any solution to the present situation in the world?

WE NEED TO GO BACK TO GOD WITH PENITENT HEARTS FOR HE

IS LOVE AND THE ONLY ANSWER TO OUR PROBLEMS. APART

FROM GOD THERE IS NO SALVATION FOR MANKIND. ANY

PROBLEM THAT IS BEYOND MAN'S ABILITY MUST BE HANDED

OVER TO GOD. PEOPLE SHOULD NOW REALISE THAT ALL THE

PROBLEMS WHICH COULD NOT BE SOLVED BY HUMAN BEINGS

ARE DIRECTLY FROM GOD AS PUNISHMENT. IN SUCH CASES ONLY

GOD HIMSELF CAN PROVIDE SOLUTIONS.

For example, minerals are produced, crops cultivated and money minted, yet

the world continues to be in want. Inflation spirals daily, and unemployment

increases by leaps and bounds. Even in America where jobs used to be in

surplus, the unemployment rate now scares even their renowned economists.

Countries embark on deportation of both legal and illegal aliens, for the

purpose of easing unemployment and other economic burdens, yet, theseproblems persist. The more the foreign nationals are repatriated, the more the

problems of the economy.

The solution to these problems lies not in sacrificing to idols, spilling human

blood, sending people to prison, or struggling for parcels of land. It is also

vain for people to get involved in endless litigations. Know that except a

disease is properly diagnosed, no cure could be effected. Except the correct

and most potent medicine is prescribed, how can the disease be cured?

Christ openly said: "And if any man hear my words and believe not, I judge

him not; for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that

rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words hath one that judgeth him: the

words that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." (John

12:47-48). The consequences for those who disobey His voice are terrible. This

is the time for all the wanderers to return home. The world has derailed from

the path of rectitude and God wants all to return to Him now. He made it

clear that he came not to judge the world, but to save it. All His injunctions

are in our own interest. For instance we are warned to refrain from stealing,

fornication, adultery, hatred and malice, all these are aimed at uniting us withGod. The condition under which man finds himself is a direct repercussion of

his transgression. You should discard every mundane teaching and practise

God's injunctions. Do not get involved in idolatry and the worship of graven

images.

Peace and unity have eluded the entire world in various governments and

church denominations. Families, communities and nations are at daggers

drawn and their problems are endless. The only source of peace, unity and

prosperity is God. All the political and economic problems faced by the world

today can never be solved by human imagination and wisdom.

Resources meant to be used in developing local governments, states and

nations are diverted to private coffers. Only a few individuals and their

immediate families benefit from such public funds. The more the number of

states and local governments the greater the dimension of the problem faced

by the people.

There are cases of embezzlement of public funds all over the world. Public

officers are looting their regional treasuries. In spite of the huge revenues

received from the sale of natural resources, nothing positively is done to

alleviate the suffering of the ordinary citizen because of mal-administrationand dishonesty. The socio-economic condition of the people is far from being

improved. The reason is that no person or government agent seeks after love

and dedication but after selfish interest.

The proliferation of states and local governments, as witnessed in Nigeria for

instance, has not helped matters. Instead, the exercise has brought about

numerous problems and hardships. This is so because the problem of Nigeria

has nothing to do with the creation of more states and local governments. All

the nations of the world are suffering from similar problems despite spirited

efforts aimed at mass production of different products. Tell the world to

refrain from sins and turn their hearts to God for immediate solutions to the

perennial hardship and global economic crunch.

The quantity of mineral deposits beneath the earth is inexhaustible; but since

they did not bring about our problems, they can neither provide solutions to

them. We have all denied God and deserted Him, therefore, in order to direct

our attention to Him, He has bound us hands and legs. THE ONLY

SOLUTION NOW IS FOR US TO GO TO HIM ON BENDED KNEES FOR

REPENTANCE OF OUR SINS. AS A MERCIFUL FATHER, HE WILLSAVE US AND TAKE AWAY OUR PROBLEMS. HE IS THE KING OF

PEACE, THE FATHER OF LOVE AND LIFE, THE GREATEST

TEACHER AND THE FOUNTAIN OF MERCIES. Since God is merciful, let

us all kneel before his feet and He will have mercy upon us.

This is not the time for anyone to boast about anything. Whether you are a

white man or a black man, rich or poor, do not boast about your position and

do not weep because of your condition either, but turn your mind to your

Creator for salvation. Of what importance is your status as a white man or a

black man? What do you gain from the riches of the world without gaining

eternal life? What do you lose if you gain eternal life without the riches of the

world? You claim to have immense power and wisdom, and to have founded a

certain church denomination. The question is, what added advantage has that

brought to you over the other person?

VIOLENCE BEGETS VIOLENCE

If you claim to be the president of a country with immense powers, the

question is, of what benefit has that been to you as regards your salvation? Or

have your powers and status enhanced the betterment of the people's

predicaments?

Have you not used your position to oppress and defraud the people? You loot

public treasury, embarking on white elephant projects with little or no

economic value, just to boost your ego. You assume the mantle of leadership

through bloodshed, systematically eliminating your opponents in order to

consolidate your bloody reign. Who amongst the leaders of the world has not

spilled blood in one way or the other in order to rule? What solutions have the

violent changes brought to the welfare of the people?

When Peter severed the ear of the high priest's servant, Our Lord Jesus

Christ told him to put his sword into its place, for, those who took up the

sword would die by it. (Matthew 26:52) This explains why one person is killed

by another and the chain of killings continues unabated. God has enjoined

man to refrain from killing, stealing, and other atrocious acts; for whatever a

man sows, same shall he reap. (Galatians 6:7) In other words, whatever you

do to your fellow man, same shall be done to you in return.

This is not the time for anyone to seek for a husband, wife, children, wealth or

anything mundane for such things are worthless and unprofitable. THIS IS

THE RIGHT TIME TO SEEK FOR JEHOVAH GOD AND HIS CHRISTNOW ON EARTH IN ORDER THAT PEACE AND PROSPERITY WILL

REIGN IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. That is the only source of our salvation.

SECOND LESSON: MATTHEW 11:28

"Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest."

THE MOST HIGH IS AWARE OF THE SITUATION IN THE WORLD

Why do you not listen to the King of peace and the God of love and be saved?

It does not cost you money or anything to turn to God and have eternal life.

Does it not occur to you that He is perfectly aware of all the things going on in

the world? He has not asked you the nature of your problems but He has

solutions to them. He wants all those who labor and are heavy laden to come

to Him and obtain rest. Therefore whatever your predicament, come to Him

for He will give you rest.

The whites are thinking of disarmament. They want to put a stop to the

production and sale of deadly weapons because of their long lasting effects.

But have they? Stealing, idolatry, among other vices are part of the most

destructive weapons to mankind. These are the very things man must first of

all stop in order to obtain peace and rest. It is high time we returned to our

Creator and Master. Until we practice the teaching of Our Lord Jesus Christ,

i.e. LOVE ONE ANOTHER, our problems will persist.

It would not have cost the people anything to elect their leaders into various

public offices, if they had allowed the love of God to prevail. It is because of

man's deceitful tendencies and selfish motive that people have to contest for

political offices and would do everything possible to win. If your intention is

genuine, why must you force the very people you want to serve to vote you

into power? If the people had lived in love and with the fear God, they would

have elected a candidate of their choice, a worthy and popular person to pilot

their affairs with the love of God.

What good thing can a president, a governor, or a legislator without the fear

of God do? Any administration run and sustained by the force of arms cannever address itself to the problems of the people. Cases of armed robbery

attacks persists in spite of executions by firing squad to deter the bandits. The

whole world has turned away from God. But this is the time for mankind to

retrace his steps and seek after his Creator God and he will have real peace

and prosperity. It is written in the Psalms: "Except the Lord build the house

they labor in vain that build it; except the Lord keep the city the watchman

watcheth but in vain." (Psalm 127:1) You should always note the above

quoted verse from the scripture. Do not waste your time in watching and

building anything for yourself because it is only God who can watch and build

a nation. Are you sure that it is God who has mandated you to keep watch or

build or conduct elections? Can you see why you fail? In 1979, Nigeria spent a

fortune to restore democracy. Ironically, the whole exercise was brought to

naught and all the resources wasted because only thieves were elected into

various offices. Right now the march to the third Republic is on and you find

that two brothers are fighting over one position or the other. Each of them is

ready to go to any length to prevent the other from winning. What really is

the cause of this? What good thing could be derived from such hooligans when

they finally take up the mantle of leadership? Until the world finally realizes

that it is love alone that reigns and that whoever possesses it needs not

campaign for any position to be elected, the present trend of events will

persist.

The Holy Spirit is in the world but the inhabitants of the world do not know

Him. Whether the world knows Him or not, this is the reign of the Holy Spirit.

In short, God's government has fully started. In order to be on the safe side, it

is expedient that the world leaders should peacefully surrender the rulership

and governance to the owner now. IF YOU RECOGNISE YOUR GOD AND

CLING TO HIM, ALL WILL BE WELL WITH YOU BECAUSE HE IS

TRUTH AND LIFE.

The world continues to gaze into the sky, expecting Our Lord Jesus Christ to

descend; whereas He has for long set up His Divine Administration. He has

nothing to do with killing, idolatry, division, and anything sinful. The only

thing that reigns in God's kingdom is love.

A pertinent question is asked in the scripture: "For what shall it profit a man

if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his soul?" (Mark 8:36).

THE WORLD IS IN A STATE OF SQUALOR

The trend of events in the world as a result of the rush-rush attitude of peopleis amazing. There is much cheating, squandering of money, and looting of

public funds. The people are exposed to a state of hopelessness and squalor.

Now the situation is that of survival of the fittest. People these days violate

natural laws with impunity to get their way. Now is the time for man to stop

these wicked activities and return to God for salvation. This is not the time to

cheat, oppress or kill others. God is the owner of everything, including man

himself.

If we desire power, love and truth, we should seek after God, for in God there

is no lie, no deceit, no oppression. If you receive bribe to elect a particular

candidate into an office, do you not think that such a person would want to

recover and defray all his expenses before thinking of the general interest of

the masses? It is in view of this situation that many politicians regard politics

as investment and not as service to humanity.

Many world leaders loot public treasury and keep whatever they steal in

foreign banks. When such leaders eventually die, the money is suddenly

frozen and taken over by the foreign government, yet their people suffer at

home. Except we are truly repentant and go back to God, problems on earth

will continue endlessly.

Christ has therefore called on all the inhabitants of the world, all those who

labor and are heavy laden to come to Him and have rest. He has taken over

the control of everything that causes man to be proud and disobedient. Except

man returns to his Creator, man will continue to be in trouble and in chains.

We are all naked before God.

This gospel with its revelation is being given so that the entire inhabitants of

the world can be duly informed of the impending doom. A city without a

prophet is ruined, and that is the more reason this gospel should be

disseminated throughout the world. I have been waiting all this while to hear

who will come out with the real solution to the problems plaguing the world.

No one has come up ever since and now I am making this declaration to the

whole world that they should return to God if they desire peace and

prosperity.

All the afflictions that plague the mankind are brought about by His angels.

The ants, the mosquitoes, flies, rain, sun, lightening, thunder, earthquake,

drought, fire,and so on are all God's angels and messengers. God can use

these things to inflict disease, pain, sickness, starvation, and death upon theearth, if mankind offends Him. All the political, economic, social and religious

problems that afflict the world are products of man's disobedience to God.

The world should have now grown to a stage where it should be problem-free.

Man should now be speaking directly with his Creator and enjoying His

goodness. He is ready to show His abundant mercies and love to mankind. He

is peace, truth, love, patience and all the good virtues you can think of. He

rules the world with His virtues. Go to Him with your problems and He will

surely answer you. We have only one Shepherd and as a matter of necessity,

there will be only one flock.

Testimonies are given by various people about the power in Brotherhood of

the Cross and Star to solve any form of problem.

THOSE WHO READ THIS GOSPEL AND RECEIVE BAPTISM INTO

BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR WILL HAVE THEIR

PROBLEMS SOLVED. The soothsayers, witch doctors, physicians and

similar people are quite aware of the fact there is no more power in their arts.

Their source of power had for long been completely cut off. The robbers, the

deceivers, the governments, the murderers are now rendered powerless.

People keep on consulting them out of ignorance and fear. This is the time foreveryone to help himself.

GOD ABHORS COUP D'ETAT

Within a short period of time which the Nigerian government has not been

toppled, have you not noticed a remarkable change in the country? Frequent

and abrupt changes of governments contribute to the woes of many countries.

It is the Holy Spirit that causes all the things on earth, including activities

during the present military regime in Nigeria.

The Biblical Prodigal Son returned to his father empty handed. On his

arrival, his father did not reject him but received him warmly. He ordered his

servants to slaughter the fatted calf to celebrate his return. He was clad in new

and expensive clothes. Everything suddenly changed for him. That is exactly

what God expects everybody to do. He is ready to receive us anytime we turn

a new leaf.

Often people would say, this is nothing to which we should call the name of

God; it is no God's business. If it is not God's business, whose is it? For now,the Holy Spirit takes dominion over everything in the world. Whether you are

a Jew, a Pharisee, Gentile, Sadducee, Greek, Nigerian, British, whatever you

are, you are owned by God. God does not discriminate; He gives equal

treatment to all.

THE CASE OF SODOM AND GOMORRAH

Before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, God warned them: "To what

purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? said the Lord: I am full of

the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the

blood of bullocks, or of lambs or of he goats. When ye come to appear before

me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my court? Bring me no

more vain oblations; INCENSE IS AN ABOMINATION UNTO ME; the new

moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot, away with. It is

iniquity even the solemn meeting. Your new moons and your appointed feasts

my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them. And

when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you; yea, when ye

make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. Wash ye,

make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes: cease

to do evil, learn to do well; seek judgement, relieve the oppressed, judge the

fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saiththe Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though

they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye

shall eat the good of the land." (Isaiah 1:11-19). On the other hand he further

warned:"But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for

the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it." (Isaiah 1:20). If Sodom and Gomorrah

had accepted God's condition and gone to Him, they would not have perished.

Our Lord Jesus Christ gave an assurance before His ascension: "He that

believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be

damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name they shall

cast out devils; and they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up

serpents; and if they drink anything deadly it shall not hurt them. They shall

lay hands on the sick and they shall recover." (Mark 16:16-18). What then

does it cost you to get out of bondage and go back to God? What would you

lose?

Many people who have baptized into this kingdom have testified of good luck

and fortunes upon baptism. A certain brother who was a beneficiary of such

sudden change was so surprised that he decided to investigate Brotherhood ofthe Cross and Star, its origin and activities, right from Biakpan to Calabar, its

headquarters, and finding no foul play or anything incriminating, he left and

shouted for joy. Therefore, brethren, God does not charge you any fee to come

to Him. He rather flings the gate of His mercies wide open for all those who

accept Him and repent, to pass through.

Preach this gospel to the entire world and to the unbelievers, tell the so-called

world powers to disengage from the production of arms and follow God, that,

this is the era of the Holy Spirit and He has come to reign forever. Therefore,

they should give peace a chance to prevail. Read the Golden Text once again.

For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: For the same Lord

over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the

name of the Lord shall be saved.

IS FOR ALL. THE SAME GOD IS FOR THE BLACKS, THE WHITES,MEN, WOMEN, YOUNG, OLD, WEAK, STRONG, RICH AND POOR. HE

IS GOD OF ALL AND IS EVER READY TO HELP THOSE WHO CALL

UPON HIM. EVENTS AROUND THE WORLD AND EVEN HERE IN

BROTHERHOOD POINT TO THE FACT THAT GOD IS HERE ON

EARTH. ALL THESE THINGS PROVIDE ENOUGH EVIDENCE FOR

YOU TO GO INTO THE WORLD TO TELL THE PEOPLE THAT THE

OWNER OF THE WORLD IS HERE.

Brotherhood of the Cross and Star does not approve idolatry, medication of

any kind, nor membership of any secret society and the rest of the vices. This

is because we are well fortified.

A TESTIMONY

A brother from Adoni once testified at 34 Ambo Street, Calabar that he

suffered from tuberculosis for twelve years and he was vomiting blood. After

going round the world in search of remedy, he was finally brought 34 Ambo

Street in 1975. That as soon as the Father placed His hands on his head, he

fully recovered. Since then he is hale and hearty. Not only this but also, this

brother became very rich. He built a beautiful storey building and had somuch wealth that the people in his community doubted his source of wealth.

Two people who rose against him as a result of his God given wealth became

mentally deranged in the course of their diabolical investigation. Others who

were against Him finally came back to plead for forgiveness when they found

that they could not destroy him. They told him that they did not know that his

wealth was from his God.

But about forty necromancers who had also attempted to do away with this

brother came to him and asked him to leave the community because they

could not contain the power of Olumba Olumba Obu. According to this

brother, he rebuffed these evil men and even went out to the village square to

announce to the whole community that all powers from witchdoctors have

been rendered useless and powerless. THAT THE ONLY SOLUTION TO

MAN NOW IS TO TURN TO THE LIVING GOD WHO IS NOW ON

EARTH.

As a result of the overwhelming power of the Holy Father, the forty

necromancers have now baptized into Brotherhood of the Cross and Star and

all their charms and amulets burnt to ashes. So you should go into the whole

world and inform the people to run away from their former ways and turn to

God for salvation.

WHOEVER PERSECUTES A MEMBER OF BROTHERHOOD OF THE

CROSS AND STAR CAN NEVER GO SCOT FREE. EVEN IF A WHOLE

COMMUNITY SHOULD RISE AGAINST YOU THE FATHER SHALL

OVERCOME THEM FOR YOU. Tell the world to flee from evil and every

form of unrighteousness and follow God, for as He did to the Israelites so shall

He do to the Gentiles in this generation.

Apart from members of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, no other people

are commissioned and empowered to carry this divine message to the world.

You are hereby asked to come to God and He will surely forgive you. Once

you surrender your body and soul to Him, He will bless you and protect you.

DO NOT PREACH TO THE PEOPLE THAT THEY SHOULD COME TO

BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR. TELL THEM TO FLEE

FROM UNRIGHTEOUSNESS AND GO TO GOD WITH PENITENT

HEARTS FOR HE WILL WIPE AWAY THEIR TEARS AND GIVE THEM

REST.

A stroke of the cane is enough for the wise. May God bless His Holy words.

THE ABUSE OF THE HOLY SPIRITLuke 12:10

"And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall beforgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it

shall not be forgiven."

Brethren, today I want to deliver a lecture to you on the Abuse of the

Holy Spirit, and the repercussion consequent upon such abuse. If you

were to obey the Holy Spirit, then no person would have had any

problems. Your greatest problem in life arises from your disobedience

and insubordination to the directives of the Holy Spirit.

On several occasions, you have been directed, even from birth, on

what you should do. You are aware of your divinely assigned duties in

the service of God, but you have persistently disobeyed the Voice of

the Holy Spirit. Your problems, your ill health, your afflictions and

tribulations, your worries and difficulties are neither attributable to

apparition, nor mermaid, nor witchcraft, nor any diabolical means, but

to your refusal to comply with the instructions of the Holy Spirit.

You Have Refused The Will Of The Holy Spirit

The children of God are everywhere in the world, and as a child of God,

you have specifically been directed by the Holy Spirit to come out from

the world, forsake the earthly things and serve God, but you have

persistently refused. This has been the crux of your trouble. Having

been deliberately recalcitrant to the directives of the Holy Spirit, tell

Me how you can have peace in this life or in the life to come, either in

this generation or in the generations to come. As long as you do not

listen to and obey the Holy Spirit, you cannot have peace nor can yourlife be worth living. If you disobey the Holy Spirit how will you please

Him?

Matthew 9:28

"And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him:

and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They

Whenever you are in the confines of the Kingdom or in the world but

refuse to listen to the Holy Spirit, your problems became compounded.

The reason, you find people in prisons, in psychiatric homes, hospitals,prayer houses, receiving treatment with necromancers and consulting

oracles is that they are disobedient to the Holy Spirit.

A few years ago the Holy Spirit sent a message to the President of the

United States of America, and he refused to comply, and the Nixon

Watergate scandal is still fresh in your mind. IN 1979, THE HOLY

SPIRIT AGAIN SENT A MESSAGE TO GENERAL IGNATIUS

ACHAMPONG, THE HEAD OF STATE OF GHANA. HE WAS DIRECTED BY

THE HOLY SPIRIT TO DO CERTAIN THINGS, AND ALSO TO SEE THEFATHER IN CALABAR. HE REFUSED TO COMPLY WITH THE

INSTRUCTION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. EVEN THOUGH HE WAS NO

LONGER THE HEAD OF STATE WHEN RAWLINGS STAGED A COUP

WHICH OUSTED THE MILITARY HEAD OF STATE, ACHAMPONG WAS

ASSASSINATED ALONG WITH THE FORMER HEAD OF STATE. THAT

WAS PUNISHMENT FOR HIS DISOBEDIENCE. Further, the Holy Spirit

sent a message to the Liberian President and Head of State, William

Tolbert, but he also disobeyed the Holy Spirit and did not comply with

the provisions of the message. He was ousted in a coup d'etat stagedby the army under Sergeant, now General, Samuel Doe, in which he

also was assassinated.

During the same period also the Holy Spirit sent a message to Alhaji

Ahmadu Adhijo the President, and Head of State of the Cameroons. As

a moslem and one who believes in idolatry, he did not accept the

message. The resulting effect of that refusal was the many problems

which he could not grapple with and which were instrumental to his

abrupt resignation. These are living testimonies, from which we haveto learn and take stock of our lives. We should learn from the mistakes

of others, and remold our lives.

In Nigeria, several messages have been sent on several occasions to

the Head of State as well as to the State Governors, since after the

civil war and even at the attainment of Independence in 1960, but

none of them had thought it expedient to carry out the message and

you are aware of the turbulent periods of history in Nigeria since 1963.

There have been four coup d'etats in two decades and two which took

lives of two Heads of State. Apart from killing, intertribal wars, internal

squabbles, gross disrespect to constituted authority, highway robbery,there have been moral bankruptcy, unstable successive governments,

economic recession, and general poverty styled "austerity." There is

everywhere a sign and feeling of unrest. Examine the situations

throughout the world. There is no peace. Whatever happens in the

world, therefore, is the result of disobedience to the Holy Spirit. The

inhabitants of the world have rejected the Holy Spirit, and you, who

were elected out from the world by God unto Himself, have also

rejected Him. Do you know it is better to obey God rather than man?

Acts 4:18-19

"And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor

teach in the name of Jesus.

But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right

in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye."

Your fall is that you listen and obey the voice of men rather than thatof God. Whatever your problems are, they are attributable to your

disobedience to, and lack of belief in God, but you rather obey man

and believe in Him.

At Etinan, God sent a certain lady to deliver a message to a certain

pregnant woman, what she should do for a safe and smooth labor and

delivery. The lady refused to carry out the message. The consequence

of the disobedience was disaster for the two ladies. The lady who

refused to deliver the message became lame and the pregnant womandelivered a stillborn child. Many visioners complain that they have no

money, husband or wife, they only suffer because of their

disobedience to the Holy Spirit. Take note that this message comes

from high heavens unto you, and you have to rearrange your thinking

because your problems arise from your disobedience to the Holy Spirit.

But when you obey Him you have no problems.

Matthew 12:31-32

"Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be

forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall notbe forgiven unto men.

And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be

forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy

Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the

world to come."

There is one thing you have not understood. If you quarrel withsomebody in Calabar, and after sometime you leave for Lagos, the man

will not see you again and it will mean that you have escaped from

him. In the same token, you can have conflict with the Government of

Nigeria, but while the Government is processing your prosecution, you

escape to the Cameroons, since the Government of Nigeria does not

see you and since you have escaped, the government will stay action

on your prosecution. But with God the situation is quite different. If

you oppose God, He will pursue you to the matter's absolute

conclusion within this world, in this generation and in any othergenerations. You blaspheme against God and refuse to serve Him

because you complain that He has not yet done certain things for you.

This is erroneous.

It seems that you have so soon forgotten what befell Jonah when he

disobeyed the Holy Spirit, the ship in storms, his being eventually

thrown overboard, the whale which swallowed him up for three days

and three nights and being deposited on the bank of Nineveh. (Jonah

1:17) Remember also what befell Nebuchadnezzar when he disobeyedthe Voice of God. (Dan 4:31-37) Do not forget also what happened to

King Herod, (Acts 12:23), and Pharaoh (Ex 14:17) as a result of

disobedience to God's instructions. Remember also what happened to

Zacharias when Angel Gabriel told him that his wife Elizabeth would

be conceived and would bear him a son and would call his name John.

(Luke 1:13-20) He started quarreling with the angel asking him how

And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and

gnashing of teeth.

Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of theirFather. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear."

Whoever prevents the children of God from serving their Father, will be

destroyed, and all his ways will be closed. If it is the government that

prevents you from serving Him, God will cause confusion, reshuffle the

ministries and cause you to lose your job. If it is the husband that

prevents the wife from serving, the Father will remove the husband to

afford the wife the opportunity of serving God. If the wife wants to

hinder her husband in the service of God, then the Father will eitherremove her or call a halt to the marriage. If it is a mother who prevents

her children from serving God, He will remove your mother in order to

allow you the free hand of serving Him. Whatever stands in the way of

any person who decides to serve his God, whether it is government, or

church, or village, or relations or society, will be completely

eliminated.

To continue with our story, the Voice of God reached this widow, that

she should forsake all worldly things and serve Him. She argued, asyou would argue today, that the children, left for her by the late

husband, have to be trained, brought up and maintained. She pleaded

that she be given time to educate her children first and then prepare

them for life before going to serve God. Since the Father had given her

the instruction, He was not perturbed by her flimsy argument.

After sometime, God again directed her to abandon what she was

doing in order to serve Him. God told her that what she was doing was

not the assignment God had kept for her, and that she was wasting hertime educating her children. She again complained bitterly and argued

that she be engaged in contract work in order to be able to educate

her children. She pleaded that she would serve God after educating

her children.

God appeared to her the third time and told her that she was sent to

the world to serve God, and that she should forsake all that she was

engaging in, because they would not benefit her in any way. But she

again pleaded that she be permitted to educate her children until they

graduated, and take up employment, and marry and build a house for

themselves. Only then could she serve God. After the third warning,God quietly left her and did not talk to her again. The moral of this

anecdote, is to convey to you, what it is to disobey the Will of God. The

ways of God are very mysterious and incomprehensible, that is why I

do not toy with the Voice of God. When you toy with the Voice of God,

you suffer.

At the end, all her four children graduated with degrees. They got

lucrative employment. The two boys married and two girls were also

married. A great many people regarded the woman as a very intelligentand wise woman having educated her children to that high level. She

then embarked upon building a family house to accommodate all her

children, their husbands and wives. Both the mother and her children,

their husbands and wives continued to work and lived in the family

house. Very soon the house was converted into a brothel and hotel and

the woman was at the height of her enjoyment in life. She was very

popular with the presidents, governors, lawyers, and millionaires. She

started attending ballroom dances and clubs. She was now given to

licentiousness, voluptuousness and sensuous snares. God waslaughing at her.

The Bible says, "As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the

Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity..." (Ps 125:5). It

has always been your feeling that if one does not work for the

government or for the company, if one does not enjoy life, if one does

not fornicate, if one does not engage in contract work, if one does not

marry and accumulate a lot of wealth, he cannot live, but do you

remember where your soul shall be?

The Bible provides that if you walk according to the promptings of the

flesh you will die, but if you use the works of the spirit to mortify the

flesh you will live. (Rom 8:13) The choir of 10 Ikom Bethel has a song

which advises people to accept their poor position but follow God.

When this widow was at the height of her life enjoyment, and when

she thought that she still had many years to enjoy, she suddenly

reached her wits end. As she returned from the hotel and pub one

night, she dropped down and died. This is indicative of the fact that

whenever God calls you, you must answer. Your life is not in yourhands, and your life does not consist in the abundance of the

possessions you have. Your life is in the hands of God. No man can

take your life and you cannot take your life. It is in the hands of God.

As the story of the death of the prominent widow rang in the air, the

community was in confusion. She was buried. This was the beginning

of a tragedy.

At the close of her funeral, and the day of her memorial service, the

first son died. He was also buried. During his memorial service, thefirst daughter died. The whole community was thrown into a great

confusion. The other two children followed in the same way without

sickness but at the climax of enjoyment, they all died. The tragedy did

not end in this world but in the other world, they also suffered because

they were accommodated in a congested, narrow and non-ventilated

house in darkness.

God is to be feared. If you do not fear Him, you are but abominable.

That is why the Scriptures advise that you should not fear one whokills the body but cannot put the soul in hell; but that you should fear

Him, who after destroying the body, casts the soul in hell. (Matt 10:28).

It is not important to think of your present life but be much concerned

with your next life to come.

In the final analysis, the five of them were accommodated in hell. God

had warned her that she was wasting time educating her children and

building houses and accumulating wealth. Now that all of them had

died, what was the purpose of her children's education, the familybuilding and the wealth accumulated?

Luke 12:16-21

"And he spake a parable unto them saying, The ground of a certain

rich man brought forth plentifully:

And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have

no room where to bestow my fruits?

And he said, This will I do:I will pull down my barns, and build greater;and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my

soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine

ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this

night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things

be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for

himself, and is not rich toward God."

Do not be stubborn with God. Obey whatever the Holy Spirit directs

you to do, but I will never be stubborn with Him. Have a change ofheart and obey always the Voice of God.

If you walk according to the promptings of the Spirit you will live.

Obedience is the first order in heaven. Therefore, obey God and carry

out His instructions.

Let those who have ears, hear the Voice of the Spirit. God Bless His

FIRST BIBLE LESSON: MATTHEW 22: 36-37"Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus

said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy

heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind."

SECOND BIBLE LESSON: JOHN 13: 34-35

"A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one

another; as I have loved you that ye also love one another.

By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye

have love one to another."GOLDEN TEXT: 1 JOHN 3:23

"And this is his commandment, That we should believe on

the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as

he gave us commandment."

BRETHREN, let everybody open his ears, and eyes and

broaden his intellect. Do not make noise. Do not fidget.

Listen with rapt attention to the words proceeding out of the

throne of God. That is necessary because as the whites say,

"start well, end better." Today marks the beginning of Akwa

Ibom State. Similarly, today is also the beginning of Cross

River State. Because it is only one person who owns them

both. The owner of the two States, who also owns other

states in the country, as well as the continent and the world

at large, sends this message to all the four

corners of the world. This celebration is not exclusively for

Akwa Ibom, or Cross River, or Nigeria, or Africa, or any

particular geographical description. It is for the whole

universe. This celebration was designed before the

foundations of the world were laid. But as our Lord Jesus

Christ said, heaven and earth shall pass away but my words

shall not pass away till all are consummated. (Matt

24:35/Luke 21:33) Today marks the consummation of the

word of God. Do not rejoice because of a state or a country.

Do not rejoice because of a city or in feasting.

This gospel, the word of the Lord, is the exhortation sent to

you today. A state is not a new thing. A country is not a new

thing. A Republic is not a new thing. Independence is not a

new thing. But the gospel now preached, is the new thing

before you. It is said, a child who walks circumspectly will

kill what killed his father, but a child who does not walk

circumspectly, whatever killed his father, will kill him. It isfor this reason that Isaac told his son to hunt for venison

and make savory meat so that he could eat and bless him.

Gen 27:3-4). Know this therefore that what we have

gathered here for, is not to thank God but to receive

blessings. You came to receive the key to the city of God

which states and nations lack. The

Father says you should today come and receive this key.

TODAY'S GOSPEL IS FOR ALL GENERATIONS. IT IS MY WISHTHAT IT SHOULD BE PRODUCED IN A BOOKLET AND

DISSEMINATED TO ALL PARTS OF THE WORLD BECAUSE IT

IS THE KEY TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD AS WELL AS THE

FOUNDATION OF ANY STATE.

A Spiritual song says: a child asks of the father in

love, the Father accepts to give to the child in love,

and the child should receive from the father in love.People mistakenly assert that God does not require anything

from man? Who tells you that God does not require anything

from man? I want to declare to the hearing of all the

inhabitants of the world that God wants something from you.

That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from

a servant. In the same token, God told Abraham when he

was not given any land, when he was yet without a child, nor

where to step his foot; know of a surety that your seed

should be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall

serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

(Gen 15:13-14). and also that nation whom they shall serve,

will I judge: and afterward they shall come out with great

substance to a land I have kept for them and will serve me."

After they had been removed from bondage to that Promised

Land, listen to what happened. As you had already been told

through songs, and gospels, do not forget that the Israelites

were under bondage in Egypt for about 430 years. Similarthings to what happens now had also happened in greater

dimensions in those days. For this reason, when Moses was

sent to remove the children of Israel from bondage from the

hands of Pharaoh, God also promised that he would harden

Pharaoh's heart. (Exodus 7:3/14:4/10:20,24,27). In the end,

Moses answered that the people will neither believe him nor

hearken unto his voice. And the Lord said unto him, what is

that in thinehand? And he said, a rod. And He said, cast it on the ground.

And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent. (Ex

4:3). God showed Moses other signs which he has to use in

persuading both Pharaoh and the elders of Israel.

This goes to show that this is a shortcut to heaven while the

other is a very long route. Moses showed the signs. He

caused water to turn to blood but Pharaoh did not let the

Israelites go. I do not want to treat the story in detail, but to

make it as brief as possible so that I may deliver the core of

my message to you. Because when there is a consensus,

there is harmony. You are the children of Israel and today

history has repeated itself. You will learn a lesson from the

analogy. The whites say, experience is the best teacher.

You will have your lessons to learn so that what befell them

may not come to you. All the same, to say God forbid does

not prevent the occurrence of death because what has been

written had been written.

What happened thereafter? At the manifestation of each

sign, Pharaoh promised to release the Israelites, at the end

of such a sign. At the end of such a sign, he would refuse to

keep his word and challenge that Moses should do whatever

he wished.

All the resistance by Pharaoh was caused by the Father.

This is so because God had told Moses to ask for the releaseof the children of Israel but that He would harden the heart

of Pharaoh. All the happenings around are caused by the

Father. No man is responsible for any event, neither shall

man be responsible for any events to come. That is the bit I

want you to understand. In the end, God told Moses that the

Israelites should celebrate a feast. He asked Moses that

every man should use a lamb, a male of the first year out of

the sheep or goats, according to the house of their fathers, alamb for an house? Everyone was to kill it in the evening and

use the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the

upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall

eat. No part of the animal was to remain till morning.

Whatever remained was to be burnt. You are familiar with

the Spiritual chorus, thus : it is only the king who

knows the secret of his Kingdom. We all float likeoil on top of water. When He instructs you to do anything, go

and do so, no matter how stupid it appears. Do it without

questioning.

When the Israelites were celebrating the feast, the

Egyptians looked at them as inconsequential and stupid.

Early the following morning all the male first born in Egypt,

including Pharaoh's, died. After this did Pharaoh ask Moses,

Rise up, and get ye and the children of Israel and go, serve

the Lord as ye have said. (Ex 12:31).

Brethren can you see what feast can accomplish. Do you

see the handiwork of God. What man cannot do, God can do.

Brethren, I do not want to expatiate in detail. I am merely

scratching the periphery. Connect the illustration above to

our own experience. I am merely linking up the past with the

present.

Realize that before, it was said that they shall come to this

land and serve me, there was a particular thing they weremeant to go and do. I do not want to delve into the

inconveniences they met on the way. I am using this analogy

as a premise so that we can guard against what happened

to the Israelites.

The exhortations you receive today were such as were

meant for you before the creation of heaven and earth. It is

for this reason that I say that today's lesson is a guide to

every home and state. NO MATTER THE VOLUME, ITWILL BE PRINTED INTO A BOOKLET SO THAT IF YOU

WANT TO DEPART FROM THE WAY, IT WOULD

SERVE AS A REMINDER TO ALL OF YOU.

When the children of Israel left Egypt, they thought that the

Canaan of their dream was an already built and furnished

city, which flowed with milk and honey. They equally

expected such provisions as store buildings, ocean goingsteamers, money stored for them in hundreds of thousands.

They were eager to inherit that land.

Republicanism is not a joke. You blacks do not understand

the true concept of Republicanism. You do not understand

what is meant by independence. The whites are also

ignorant of its true meaning. The gospel I have given to you,

is meant for all Nigerians and Africans. Today, has the whole

world been given true independence. Whatever was left will

be released, so that this injunction may be kept by all the

inhabitants of the world without hindrances.

Firstly, twelve spies were sent by the Israelites to study

what the promised land looked like. When they arrived, ten

of them wanted to discourage the others concerning what

they saw. Throughout their exodus in the wilderness, they

had not met with as strong persons as the occupants of that

land. Ten of the spies wanted to go and tell others that they

would not be able to penetrate the land. The other two spiesdiscouraged them from this pessimism.

When they returned, they told God that they had not found

that land. The land they saw, since they started fighting,

they had not met with such persons. Some people had

twelve faces, while others had four. They were very

gigantic. That was the land kept for their fathers by God.

What reply did God give to them? God told them that he had

no other land to give to them, that the land they saw wasthat promised. If they could, they were to acquire it, if not, it

was their business. That was the first hurdle.

Secondly, when they had completed the acquisition of the

land, Joshua stood up among his people and said, choose

you this day whom you will serve, whether the God that had

eyes but could not see, ears but could not hear, legs but

cannot walk, but as for me and my house, we will serve the

lord who brought us up and our fathers out of the land of

Egypt, from the house of bondage. (Joshua 24:15)

Remember that God had promised to lead the Israelites out

of bondage to a land he had promised them, where they will

serve God. They no longer had to serve themselves but on

that land, they had to serve the Lord God.

What can a murderer do for God? What can a person who

holds tenaciously to the traditional belief that God does not

die and the Ikpo masquerade does not die, able to do for

God? What can a person who says that God does not die and

so the Ekpe, or Obon cults does not die. Do you not realize

the situation clearly enough? God has saved Nigeria so that

we may come and serve Him. God saves Africa so that we

can serve Him. God saves the entire world so that they may

serve Him. He has now created the Akwa Ibom State so that

we may serve Him. It is not for us to serve ourselves or to

continue in indulgence in the preparation of concoction,hatred, murder and strife. If we should continue in this way,

what will be the use of such an act of benevolence? What

shall it then benefit God?

This now explains why you are today gathered here, to be

told, "This is my commandment that ye love one another."

(John 15:12). That is the commandment of this new

Kingdom. We are all true witnesses to the fact that Cross

River State and indeed this part of the world lacks ineconomic and political powers. But religious power is

sufficient unto us. God, even the Holy Spirit, is sufficient

unto us in this part of the globe. However, I do not want to

delve into that area, because it is better to inherit God from

your father and mother than to inherit wealth. The scripture

says, seek ye first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness

and all other things shall be added unto you. (Luke 12:31)

That is the great injunction. At all times, the word

of God is a two-edged sword.

After God had created everything, He commanded Adam and

Eve to freely eat, "but of the tree of the knowledge of good

and evil, thou shalt not eat of it, for on the day that thou

eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die." (Gen 2:17) God gave

Adam the power of superintendence over fishes, animals,

birds, trees and other creatures of God and also gave him

the injunction not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of

good and evil for any day he ate of it, he shall die.

Because of disobedience, the world is beset with problems.

At all times, God had a plan and purpose for His chosen

people. By right, the first thing you should seek to

know after manifesting on this plane is to know the plan of

God for you. You should find out why He has sent you, who

your maker is and what He wants you to do. If you are a

chosen of God and you do that which God wants of you, youwill reap the yields of this earth.

You will recall that during the exodus, before the Israelites

finally settled on the promised land, Moses went to the

mount to receive commandments from the hands of God.

The commandment stated why God wanted the Israelites

and what they were required to do. Today, has the Lord set

for Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Nigeria, and indeed the whole

world, to receive this commandment from God in the mannergiven to Moses.

I want you to read Exodus Chapter 20. I do not want to

recite anything by heart. Many of you claim you are

Christians and do attend Qua Iboe Church, Lutheran, Roman

Catholic and so forth. Some claim to belong to different

geographical environment. Check yourself whether you have

conformed with the will of God as prescribed in the portion.

EXODUS 20:1-17 And God spoke all these words, saying, I

am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the

land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have

no other gods before me.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any

likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the

earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou

shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the

LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the

fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth

generation ofthem that hate me: And showing mercy unto

thousands of them that love me, and keep my

commandments.

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain;

for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name

in vain. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days

shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it

thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy

daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy

cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six

days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that

in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD

blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be longupon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

Thou shalt not kill.

Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Thou shalt not steal.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not

covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his

maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy

neighbor's.

Let our first lesson be read.

WHO IS THE MAN WHO SAYS THAT GOD DOES NOT

REQUIRE ANYTHING FROM MAN? CAN YOU NOT SEE WHAT

GOD WANTS? GOD WANTS US TO LOVE HIM WITH ALL OUR

HEARTS, AND WITH ALL OUR SOULS, AND WITH ALL OUR

MINDS. HE HAS GIVEN US THIS STATE, GIVEN US

INDEPENDENCE AND GRANTED US FREEDOM. HE HAS SENT

US HERE SO THAT WE MAY LOVE HIM WITH ALL OUR

HEARTS, WITH ALL OUR MINDS, IN ALL OUR LIVES, AND

ALL ABOUT US.

The foremost requirement is, Thou shalt have no other gods

before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image,or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is

in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them.

You should not eat their food nor have anything to do with

them. But love your God. All the commandments revolve

around this.

THIS EXPLAINS WHY GOD GIVES US THE FREEDOM TO

LIBERATE THE WHOLE OF AFRICA AND THE WORLD ATLARGE SO THAT WE CAN SERVE HIM, LOVE HIM WITH ALL

OUR HEARTS, AND SOULS, AND MINDS. WHEN YOU ARE

UNDER A FOREIGN RULE, YOU ARE LIKE A LITTLE CHILD,

AND NO BETTER THAN A SLAVE. THEN YOU ARE

SUBJECTED TO WORSHIPING STRANGE GODS. NOW THAT

YOU HAVE BEEN LIBERATED, AND HAVE BEEN GIVEN A

STATE OR LAND OF YOUR OWN, YOU ARE FREE TO LOVE

GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEARTS, AND SOULS, AND MINDS,

AND TO SERVE THE LORD GOD ALONE.

WHAT HAPPENS TO NIGERIA, AND AFRICA, AND THE

WHOLE WORLD IS LIKE UNTO WHAT HAPPENED TO THE

CHILDREN OF ISRAEL. WHAT HAPPENS TO ALL THE

INHABITANTS OF THE WORLD IS WHAT HAPPENED TO

ADAM AND EVE. THAT IS WHY I TELL YOU THAT THE WORD

OF GOD IS A TWO EDGED SWORD. GOD KEPT GOLD, OTHER

PRECIOUS PEARLS AS WELL AS OTHER GOOD GIFTS OF

GOD IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN AND KEPT ADAM AND EVE

TO ENJOY THEM ALL. THERE WAS NEITHER HUNGER, NOR

LACK, NOR SICKNESS, NOR NIGHT. THERE WAS NO

PROBLEM. NOTHING LIKE QUARRELING AND FIGHTING

AMONG THEM. MAN AND ANIMALS LIVED TOGETHER.

THAT WAS AS LONG AS HE KEPT GOD'S INSTRUCTION AND

DID NOT VIOLATE THE LAW OF GOD BY EATING OF THE

FORBIDDEN FRUIT. BUT RIGHT FROM THE TIME HE ATE OFTHE FORBIDDEN FRUIT, GOD REMOVED HIM FROM THE

GARDEN. RIGHT FROM THAT DAY, MAN BECAME

SUBJECTED TO PUNISHMENTS AND SUFFERINGS.

This explains why I tell you that a child who walks

circumspectly will kill that which killed his father, but a

child who is not circumspect, even what killed his father will

kill him. When the Israelites left the worship of strange and

false gods in Egypt, they were given the commandment tousher in a new way of life. They accepted the

commandments with joy. But in the long run, they returned

to their former deeds, sacrificed unto idols, poured libation

to the gods of their fore-fathers, committed fornication,

murmured against God.

If you read 1 CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 10:7-11 you will see

what happened to them. It is said, Neither be ye idolaters,

as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down

to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

Neither let us commit fornication as some of them

committed and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted,

and were destroyed of serpents. Neither murmur ye, as

some also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples:

and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the

ends of the world are come. The Israelites themselves, in

the face of their fate, regretted having come out of bondage,

from the land of Egypt. Today have Africans not regretted?

Have the inhabitants of the world not regretted? Can you not

see the magnitude of man's suffering. Where is life? Why are

things the way they are with you?

It is because you have forgotten the exhortations of the Lord

and have entered unto the path of iniquity. He saved us sothat we may serve Him but you had all the while refused. It

is for this reason that we are called today, to bring to our

remembrance all that we had forgotten and reaffirm God's

stand concerning His expectations.

What is going to be our instrument of governance in this new

Kingdom of God? Let our second lesson be read.

SECOND BIBLE LESSON: JOHN 13:34-35

"A NEW COMMANDMENT I GIVE UNTO YOU, THAT YE LOVEONE ANOTHER; AS I HAVE LOVED YOU, THAT YE ALSO

LOVE ONE ANOTHER. BY THIS SHALL ALL MEN KNOW THAT

YE ARE MY DISCIPLES, IF YE HAVE

LOVE ONE TO ANOTHER."

I have committed myself. You have committed yourself. All

of us have committed ourselves by saying that God has

given us the state. Here is God giving us His first

commandment to love Him with all our hearts, and with all

our souls and with all our minds. Now our Lord Jesus Christ

has spoken of a new commandment which is to love one

another. By this shall all men know that we are the children

of God. OUR WEAPON OF WAR HERE IS NO OTHER THING

BESIDE LOVE. YOU CAN NOW SEE THAT IF ALL AFRICANS

WERE TO POSSESS LOVE, OR IF THE WHOLE WORLD WERE

TO POSSESS LOVE, THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO

PROBLEM.

It is not a man-made law. It is not the instruction of a village

or Clan Head, or that of a

government. It is the commandment of God. A new

commandment I give unto you that you love one another

even as I love you. By this shall all men know that we are

the children of God. Is it an apparition that has given you

this state? Or is it mermaid, or the Ekpe or Obon cults that

has given you this state? Is it man or money that has givenyou this State? The state is given to you by Jehovah God

and His Christ. Therefore you have to obey Him. That is

God's injunction to us all.

It was for this reason that we were called. Our Lord Jesus

Christ re-emphasizes love at this creation of the new state,

that you love one another. That is the required instrument of

governance in this state, and in the whole country of

Nigeria, as well as the whole world. This is the way of lifethat God wants from us.

It is for this reason that our Lord Jesus Christ says, "Other

sheep I have which are not of this fold: them also I must

bring, and they shall hear my voice, and there shall be one

fold, and one shepherd." (JOHN 10:16).

The person who has given us this state, is our Lord Jesus

Christ. His blood has amalgamated the inhabitants of the

world. It is neither angels nor man, whether white or black.

Our Lord Jesus Christ has liberated the whole world so that

we may live in love. It is love alone that is our instrument of

governance.

If independence were to be gained by money, Africa would

have remained in perpetual slavery. If it were based on

wisdom, Africa would have perished in slavery. If

considerations were placed on power, or any other

conditions, we would have had it tough. But since all

conditions are based on the love of Our Lord Jesus Christ,

His blood has redeemed us so that no one may have a

defense and that we may love one another, and walk

according to His commandments. That is why He has called

on us and indeed all the inhabitants of the world.

WHICHEVER PLACE IS LEFT UNLIBERATED, WILL SOON BE

LIBERATED. OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST ENJOINS US, AS THE

FATHER LOVED ME, SO LOVE I YOU, ABIDE IN MY LOVE.(JOHN 15:10)

Right now, it is expedient for all Cross River or Akwa Ibom

indigenes to love themselves. All Nigerians, Africans and the

whites should love themselves. Everybody is Brotherhood,
