A new blank Quote List is displayed. We’ll now add our instruments. In the command line, type Hang Seng.

As you type, Thomson Reuters Eikon displays a number of possible matches, including recently-used instruments, in a dropdown menu. You can click on any instrument code to add it to the quote list. For this example, select the Hang Seng Index. Note: If you don’t see a good match, click the Other results for link at the bottom of the dropdown to open Search.

To view the complete list of constituents in the index, click the arrow at left, next to .HSI.

The full list of constituents is now displayed. The Quote List will be automatically saved as you add instruments or make changes.
