A Message from the Pastor
Greetings to you and wishing you a very Blessed New Year. Seeing that
we all have the opportunity to forgive and start a new.
The word of God teaches us that we forgive others and that it is an abso-
lute necessity. Matthew 6:14-15 Forgiveness is clearly stated in the prayer
in which Jesus taught his disciples to pray. Matthew 6:12, we must learn to
forgive and to forgive often . Matthew 18:21-22. Luke 17:3-4. According
to God’s word if we do not forgive and we are thus faced with God’s judg-
ment upon us, Matthew 18:23-25. Therefore let us not face God’s judg-
ment in 2015 but rather let us put away all bitterness and anger, but forgive
as God forgives Ephesians 4:31-32.
When we forgive we then become imitators of God, Ephesians 5:1-2
wouldn’t you want to be and act more like your Heavenly Father? Well
there is a way, we must learn to forgive.
Remember, the Father of the prodigal forgave him and accepted him as if
he had not sinned. Luke 15:20-24. Jesus commands us to forgive.
Mark 11:25 and the love keeps no record of our wrong, I Corinthians 13:5
We should be thankful and rejoice for God’s love covers (over looks) a
multitude of sins. I Peter 4:8 Life is too short not to forgive, so let us begin
the New Year with love and the spirit of restoration of others Galatians
6:1, II Corinthians 2:5-11, II Corinthians 2:7-8, II Corinthians 2:10-11.
