FIRST-TIMERSAttending your first NSA Conference can be both overwhelming and exciting. You may feel nervous and unsure about what to do, but we have plenty of activities to help you get comfortable. Before you arrive at the Conference, you’ll receive a welcome call from a former first-timer to help you feel more relaxed about attending. Once at the Conference, you’ll attend the First-Timer Orientation session (Wednesday 3-4:30pm) where you’ll meet other new attendees and learn from veteran attendees about how to make the most of your Conference experience. The First-Timer Luncheon (Thursday 12-1:30pm) is another opportunity for you to meet new friends.

ADULTSWe o�er a wide variety of relevant and interactive workshops for adults, many presentedby people who stutter, speech therapists, and some of the top researchers in the field.All of our workshop presenters carefully apply for their spot, so the workshops are sure to be diverse and moving. Topics range from di�erent approaches to stuttering to the latest stuttering research findings to dating and relationships to disability rights and to workplace success. There is truly something for everyone to learn and gain a fresh perspective on living life successfully as a person who stutters.

YOUNG ADULTSThe transition to young adulthood is di�cult. Having a stutter during this time may add additional layers of anxiety and uncertainty. The Young Adults program at the Conference includes specially designed workshops and dynamic social events for young adults who stutter to connect with, support, and challenge each other.

YOUTH & FAMILYKids, tweens, and teens who stutter, will learn from one another and explore their feelings about stuttering in a safe and fun environment. Parents will have the opportunity to connect and learn from others. Relationships develop and deepen through ongoing contact and become even stronger when attendees reconnect at the next Conference. Families, especially, will find their support network lasting long after the Conference has ended.

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS (JULY 4-6)SLPs will have the opportunity to expand professional knowledge and skills in the area of stuttering beginning at 9AM Thursday. Workshops are designed with professional content and o�ered for up to 1.1 ASHA CEUs.

RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM (JULY 2-3)This Symposium will explore a theme relevant to researchers and practitioners in the areaof stuttering. Stuttering: Perspectives on Disability, Diversity and Culture, will include keynote speeches and group discussion to promote the exploration of stuttering inspired by work in the fields of disability studies and neurodiversity. A separate registration is required and is open to all. This course is being o�ered for up to 1.3 ASHA CEUs (advanced level, professional area).

NSA FIT!Our NSA Fit! program will lead daily activities such as group walks/runs, bike ride, fitness classes, and other opportunities to stay active.
