ing at Buena Vista, or check

winter fat bike cycling !

Weekend and Break Trips with
the Outdoor Program Center
Our trips are designed to get you out into
wild places, learn skills and form friendships.
They are always planned with the beginners in
mind, so you don’t need to be a hardcore ath-
lete or have special equipment to participate.
The public is welcome to sign up for all our
programs so we often have an interesting
blend of all ages and life experiences on our
trips.
The cost of renting tents, sleeping bags, rain-
gear, etc. is included in the price and all group
gear is arranged by the trip leaders, making
our trips an amazing value! The trips are led
by trained OPC student staff who put safety
and group communication first so you won’t
feel out of place or in over your head.

We offer rentals and programs for BSU stu-
dents and the Bemidji community alike,

Indoor Climbing Wall: The rock climbing wall, located in the Gillett
Recreation-Fitness Center, towering over 30
feet with routes for any skill level, is one of
the premier indoor rock climbing facilities
north of the Twin Cities. Top rope or lead
your way up the cracks, corners and
crimpers. Instructional clinics, as well as
group rentals are available. Bring you birthd
Hobson Forest: The 240 acres of Hobson Memorial Forest
include over 7km of hiking and cross-
country skiing trails through a pine forest
and around Lynn Lake. It is equipped with
two rustic log cabins available for rent by
school groups and by BSU students for a
minimal fee.
