Message from Principal Atmiya Institute of Pharmacy was established in 2005 with the aim to provide quality education at degree and postgraduate level in pharmacy and to pre-

pare youth to meet the challenges in the area of pharmaceutical research & development. Institute is poised to face global challenges of pharmaceutical in-

dustries and education with the changed perspectives.

Atmiya Institute of Pharmacy has a glorious standing of 12 years and continues to evolve as the most reputed Pharmacy College in Saurasthra Region. At

AIP the students are expected to have enriching and life-turning experiences that propel them to take advantage of the new opportunities in life.

We foster sharpening of skills and enhancement of knowledge base in our students through various extra- curricular, co-curricular and curricular activities

through faculty who not only keep themselves at par with the current developments but also contribute to the expansion of knowledge in field of Pharmacy

The faculty members contribute substantially to the academic through quality teaching and publications. The excellent goodwill we enjoy with the industry

generously contributes to our various academic processes. The industry interactions provide a close hands-on-experience to our students.

Further college provides a platform and encourages students to participate in social extension and extracurricular activities and we also teach Universal Hu-

man Values to our students. It is my immense pleasure to bring eNews Letter of AIP. Expert Lectures by Eminent Guests Atmiya Institute of Pharmacy organized an expert lecture of Dr. Sanjeev

Acharya, President, R & D at K. Patel Phyto Extracts Pvt. Ltd.,

Bhilad, on 4th February 2017 for graduate and post graduate students of

Pharmacy and faculties of Atmiya Institute of Pharmacy and Virani Science

College, Rajkot.

AIP organized an expert lecture of Mr. Rajesh Jain, IIM Ah-

medabad, on 11th February 2017 for graduate and post gradu-

ate students of Pharmacy and MBA as well as faculties of Insti-

tute of Pharmacy.

Industrial Visit AIP organized industrial visit of 2nd Semester B.Pharm students

at Balaji Wafers Pvt. Ltd., Rajkot on 11th March 2017. This visit

was arranged keeping in view the subjects like Pharmaceutical

engineering, Unit Operations, etc. taught in current semesters.

AIP also organized industrial visit of 8th Sem B.Pharm and 4th

Sem M.Pharm students at ACME Pharmaceutical Private Limited,

Sanand on 11th March 2017. This visit was arranged keeping in

view the subjects like Pharma-

ceutics, Unit Operations, for-

mulation development etc

taught in current semesters.

Nominated as a member of Executive Advisory Committee of National Confer-

ence On “Frontier Research in Natural Products: Opportunities and Challenges” on

03 - 04th February 2017 at AKS University, Satna MP - India.

Re Elected as a National Joint Secretary of Society of Pharmacognosy dur-

Students Forum Activities Atmiya Institute of Pharmacy has organized forum “ATMIYAPHARMA-CARNIVAL 2017” on 4th March 2017. Various events under forum are conducted

for giving exposure to Extracurricular knowledge of students. Events like Food stall, Games, Exhibition and Sale, Art stall, T-Shirt painting, Ragoli, Face

painting, Salad decoration, and Best from waste were organized under the guidance of Dr. Vimal Kumar, Dr. Ridhhi Madhu and Mrs. Mital Manavar.
