GEM Tubular Batter ies are manufactured with Heat Sealed Polypropylene Co Polymer Monobloc casing mater ia l .
Tubular posit ive plates are made of highly corrosion-resistant special lead al loy and Pasted Negative Plates with
high discharge performance to ensure cycl ing capabi l i t ies and also reduce topping-up frequency. Individual cel ls
are fitted with Micro Porous aqua-trap ceramic vent plugs with sealed float, which prevent acid mist coming out from
the cells to make it convenient for living room ambience.

Tubular Plate Monobloc Heat
Sealed Polypropylene Batteries
GEM Tubular Plate Batteries are specially designed for inverter applications and are made with ultra-thick charged plates for long life & performance. They
are user-friendly batteries with quick initial charging capability, very low internal resistance, and have a steady voltage profile during short & long duration
discharges. The sealed float and ceramic filter plugs help easy maintenance of electrolyte level and ensure no fume emissions. These batteries have a great
charge acceptance and retention properties even in arduous working conditions.

Fill battery grade sulphuric acid in all the cells up to the required levels
Filling Specific Gravity: 1.220 +- 0.005 at 27°C
Fully Charged Gravity: 1.250 +- 0.005 at 27°C; adjust final working gravity in all the cells
Charge the batteries with constant current as indicated in the table, after 2 hrs. of soaking period, until the top of charge voltage reach 16.20
Volts per battery
Conditions of fully charged:
a) 3 consecutive hourly readings of specific gravity and voltage become constant b) Top of charge voltage will be around 16.2 V – 16.5 V
c) All cells should be gas-free d) Minimum Ah has been given
