Gesgapegiag, QC, January 2, 2013: The Micmacs of Gesgapegiag`s Band Council supports

attempt to obtain a meeting with Prime Minister Harper. This blockade began at 10:00 PM on the 1st of
January and will finish at 10:00 PM this evening, the 2nd

A slowdown of traffic on the Rte 132 through Gesgapegiag will begin tomorrow, the 3rd of January
2013 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and information flyers will be distributed. The information that is

On Saturday, the 5th of January 2013, there will a March of Solidarity held in Gesgapegiag at 1:00
PM. The March will begin at the Gesgapegiag Band Office and will end at the Traditional Village Site
where there will be speeches made about the issues at hand, such as : Bill C-45, Bill C-38, the Idle No
More Movement and the situation of Chief Spence. The Rte 132 will be blocked to traffic during the
