I love working for T & A. I know all of the people, the owners - the Tanimuras and the Antles. They treat me very well. Everything and everybody is very nice.

I started picking cauliflower and did that for 3-4 years. Then, I was a machine operator and a truck driver and finally a foreman.

I work hard and I love what I do. I get up around 5am, work hard in the fields and I’m ready to do it again the next day. I tell my staff that they can do what I do. Work hard, be dependable and someday they can do what I’ve done.

I’d like to let consumers know what we grow here, the artisan romaine lettuce, is one of the nicest, sweetest romaine that is available. We put great care in what we grow.
