RESERVE OFFICER PICKELHAUBE FOR A CHEVAULEGERS

REGIMENT - BAVARIA. This helmet would have been worn by a reserve officer serving in one of four Bavarian Army Chevauleger Regiments. This helmet has a very pleasing leather body that is virtually unblemished, with original shine. The gilt pieces, including the wappen, chin scales, etc., are in excellent condition. The interior shows aging, but only in the silk liner. The rest of the interior is in excellent condition. All leather intact, straps in excellent condition. This is a superb helmet. This helmet will not disappoint. It is truly a top cavalry helmet. With box, $2,500.00. .

IMPERIAL GERMAN / BAVARIAN ROYAL ARMY NCO Schirmmütze ca. 1900 This hat is in very good condition, thanks in part to being stored for decades in its box. The hat shows very minor mothing. Visor is solid. Manufacturer’s imprint clear and legible. No

personal info in hat or box. Imperial insignia on top, with blue/white (silver) Bavarian insignia on band.

IMPERIAL GERMAN / BAVARIAN ROYAL ARMY NCO TUNIC This tunic bears the shoulder straps of the Bavarian 6. Infanterie-Regiment Kaiser Wilhelm, König von Preußen, stationed in Amberg, part of the III. Bayerische Armee Korps. The owner was in

the 9. Kompanie. The coat may have originally been issued to someone in the 14. Infanterie, as the interior bears the stamp: “14.Inf. Reg. 9.Komp. R.W. tragbar.” Belt included, but missing leather keeper.
