Head-up display – Copper graphics exclusively developed for

GENESIS are applied to provide a wide spectrum of vehicle and

driving information and ensure outstanding visibility.

Smart posture optimizer – Just enter the driver’s height, sitting

height, and weight, and the optimal positions of the driver’s seat,

steering wheel, side view mirrors, and head-up display are automati-

cally adjusted based on the input information.

Surround view monitor – The four cameras installed on the ex-

terior of the vehicle provide a much wider view for monitoring on

the display and ensure parking and driving convenience through

such features as the front and rear obstacle detection and warn-

ing system, the trajectory estimation while in reverse, and the

Outside air intake control – This feature automatically con-

trols the windows and air-conditioning system before entering

a tunnel and automatically activates the air-recirculation mode

01. 10-airbag system – Advanced airbags are applied to deploy in ac-

cordance with the magnitude of a collision and the presence of

passengers. The vehicle is mounted with a total of ten airbags, in-

cluding the driver’s and front passenger’s knee airbags, front and

rear side airbags, and curtain airbags for a rollover crash.

02. Front-seat pre-active seat belt – The seat belt is tightened to

protect the passenger against a potential collision when sudden

braking and a tire skid are detected. It also retracts when the ve-

hicle makes a sharp turn to prevent the driver from leaning to one

side.

03. Ghost Door Closing – The doors close themselves tightly even

when passengers fail to shut them completely, thereby ensuring

that passengers feel fully protected.

HTRAC – AWD System

HTRAC marks an evolution from the existing mechanical 4WD system. It detects the vehicle speed and road surface condition and ensures stable performance on

slippery roads and during cornering through variable control of the braking power of the left and right wheels and the power of the front and rear wheels. In addition,

unlike other electronic AWD sedans with limitations in shifting from one drive system to another, G90 equipped with HTRAC can be seamlessly shifted to all three

different drive systems, from AWD to RWD and 4WD, as preferred by the driver.

Blind Spot Monitor – A clear and wide view of the blind spot is provided on the cluster display when switching on a direction indicator to ensure safety.

Lane Departure Warning/Lane Maintenance Assist – This system recognizes the lane via a front-facing camera and

alerts the driver when the vehicle begins to move out of its lane without switching on the direction indicator. It takes over

steering to keep the vehicle centered in its lane when deemed necessary.

approaching at high speeds or from blind spots that are not re-

flected in the side view mirrors. It prevents blind spot collisions by

controlling the brakes when necessary.

Highway Driving Assist – This cutting-edge driving assist system

represents the next step towards future mobility. The driver can

preset this feature to automatically adjust the vehicle speed and

distance from vehicles in front on the highway. It eliminates the

need to operate the brakes or accelerator during long-distance

travel or traffic congestion. The vehicle speed and distance are

automatically controlled when the vehicles in front start within 30

seconds after the vehicle has come to a complete stop.

It also assists steering to keep the vehicle centered in its lane.

Smart cruise control with stop & go – This system automatically ad-

justs the vehicle speed and maintains the distance preset by the driver

from vehicles in front without the need to press the accelerator. The

vehicle speed and distance are automatically controlled when ve-

hicles ahead start within 30 seconds after the vehicle has come to a

complete stop.

Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control – This system automatically

reduces the vehicle speed within a safety section or curved section on

highways and motorways through navigation connectivity and adjusts

it back to the speed preset by the driver to ensure convenience.

High Beam Assist – This system recognizes vehicles in front,

oncoming vehicles, and streetlamps at night and automatically

switches the headlamps between high and low beam, all without

your fingers leaving the steering wheel to ensure the safety of all

vehicles on the road.

Steering Wheel with Vibration Sensor – When a potential colli-

sion is detected or the vehicle begins to depart from its lane, an

alarm sound goes off or the steering wheel vibrates, in addition

to a warning message on the cluster display, to call the driver’s

attention.

Driver Attention Alert – This system monitors driving patterns

and the vehicle’s position within the lane in a comprehensive

manner and alerts the driver in five steps via a message and

warning sound if any inattentive or fatigued driving pattern is de-

tected.

02. Forward Collision Warning/Forward Collision Prevention Assist – This system detects ve-

hicles and pedestrians in front using front-facing cameras and radar, alerts the driver of a

potential collision, and activates the brakes when needed to reduce the severity of a colli-

sion.

04. Safety Exit Assist – This system provides a warning with a message and sound to the driver

by sensing vehicles approaching from the side after the vehicle comes to a stop to prevent

passengers from opening their door into oncoming traffic.

system monitors the areas to the right and left when the vehicle reverses out of a parking
