Choose your topic when you plan your day. Student Led Campus Tours – Join our Student Ambassadors on a guided tour of campus highlighting academic buildings, student and study areas, residence buildings and athletic facilities. General tours as well as program specific tours can be accommodated. Meet the Faculty – Set up a meeting for your students with a faculty member from one of our four undergraduate faculties (Arts, Music, Science and Business & Economics). Student Success Presentation – Led by senior students, this session gives high school students an inside look at university life and offers tips and tricks for being a successful student. Lab Demonstrations – Lab demonstrations are available in Geography and Environmental Career Services Workshops – Specialists from our Career Development Centre will give students the inside scoop on which industries are hiring and what can be done with a university degree. Laurier Open Houses – Visit our Waterloo Campus open house on Friday November 5 th and/or our Brantford Campus open house on Friday November 12 th . Let us know you are coming and we will arrange parking for your bus in advance. Leadership in Business – Encourage your students to attend our student-led Leadership in Business Conference. Information and applications can be found at http://thelinkonline.org . Music Master Classes/Concert Rehearsals – Arts and Culture students interested in Music can visit and open Master Class or attend a concert rehearsal. Q: What can Laurier offer for SHSM students?A: Laurier has a variety of customizable options for students to meet their SHSM program requirements outside of the classroom.Q: When can my class visit Laurier?A: Campus visits should be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure all opportunities are available. Visits will be offered Monday-Friday.Q: How many students per group can attend a campus visit?A: Groups of 30-40 students are preferred however alternative group sizes can be accommodated.Q: How can I customize my visit? National Stock Market Competition – Sponsor your students to take part in our bi-annual Stock Market Competition. Students will compete against teams from across the country and have the opportunity to win cash prizes and Laurier scholarships. The cost per team is $20.00 and can include up to 5 students.
