G1 Familiar with and follow approved procedures L1 Follow the Chevron colour coding standard
G2 Ensure clear communications between all parties L2 Use certified portable lifting equipment

'HOT WORK' EFFECTIVE EXISTING SAFEGUARDS
H1 If hot work in confined space then LEL must = 0%
H2 Only Solstad Chief and 2nd Officers are the nominated gas testers onboard
H3 Flash back arrestors fitted to regulators and handsets in all gas cutting/welding equipment
H4 Fire watch in place to remain 30 mins after work has been completed
H5 Calibrated welding / cutting machines
H6 Fire blankets and fire extinguishers in use at the work site
H7 Welding hose management
H8 Gas leak tests conducted as part of shift equipment pre-checks
