GENERAL RULES
Maximum 20 participants per college can take part in thisFLAIR FEST 2014.
One teaching staff is requested to accompany the students.
Students must wear their identity card.
Please send the filled in registration form on or before 10th February. Registration
is free of cost.
Please avoid spot registration; it helps us organize the program pleasantly.
Registration for all the events is mandatory.
The order of performance in the events will be based on random lot selection.
Decision of the jury members is final.
Best three performers in each event shall be awarded with cash prizes and
certificates. All the other participants will be issued with participation certificate. Cash Prize for First Place is Rs. 1000/- Second Place is Rs. 700/- and Third Place is Rs.
500/- for each event.
The college which scores highest points in all events together will be declared overall
champion and a shield will be awarded.
Lunch will be provided by our college.
Students are not permitted to use mobile phones inside the college premises.
Students are requested to reach the college campus by 9.45 AM.
Transport facilities are arranged from Karaikudi New bus stand and Old bus stand at
9.20 AM.
ELOCUTION - TAMIL
THREE participants per collegecan take part.
The topics are:

The participants must speak only in Tamil on any one of the topic specified.
Maximum time allotted for a person is FIVE Minutes. Participants of Elocution English, Quiz and Rangolievents cannot participate in this
event.

ELOCUTION - ENGLISH
THREE participants per collegecan take part.
The Topics are:
Impact of rise in prices on common man.
Professional Ethics and corruption.
Conversion of cultivable land and its dangers.
The participants must speak only in English on any one of the topic specified.
Maximum time allotted for a person is FIVE Minutes.
Participants of Elocution Tamil, Quiz and Rangolievents cannot participate in this
event.
QUIZ
FOUR Participants per team have to take part. One team per college.
Questions will be from General Knowledge, Sports, Business, National and
International Affairs.
All the teams will have to write preliminary test and top five teams will be selected
for final quiz.
Participants of Elocutions and Rangolievents cannot participate in this event.
RANGOLI
THREE participants per team have to take part. One team per college.
The participants must bring the necessary materials for rangoli.
The rangolimust be based only on the theme specified.
CLASSICAL DANCE
Maximum TWO Participants per team. One team per college.
Maximum time for each team is FIVE minutes.
Vulgarity in any form must be avoided.
Harmful items should not be used.
The song must be from classical genre. The participants must bring the song in a CD.
Pendrives are not allowed.
FOLK DANCE Maximum FIVE Participants per team. One team per college.
Maximum time for each team is FIVE minutes.
Vulgarity in any form must be avoided.
Harmful items should not be used.
The song must be from Folk genre. The participants must bring the song in a CD.
