InternationalTraining Center


Gridins enterprise LT is a full member of Irata from 24 March, 2004specializing in industrial rope access both off - and onshore. Since becominga member our company has carried out some important steps to promoteIRATA in Lithuania and to become a commited member. As a proof in early2010 we designed and opened the international training center.


Our doors are open to all willing to be certified: technicians from Egypt, Moldavia,Latvia, Estonia, Russia and Azerbaijan were certified. Total number of certifiedtechnicians from mentioned countries this year is 34.

The international training center offers the training possibility both indoors andoutdoor. The training center constructions are suitable for special forces, firefightersand other authorities’ needs.

Center offers a fully equipped kitchen and canteen. All kitchen appliances arecertified according to EU standarts.

The international training center provides the possibility to gain the skills andqualification of welders, painters, fitters, riggers as well as rope access technicians.The major attention is paid to rope access training service. We strongly follow therequirements of Irata and try to provide the possibility for technicians to operate inmore real conditions during training. The technicians have the possibility to gettraining indoor facilities as well as outdoor. All the time we are cooperating withspecial forces, firefighters and emergency institutions. The training center providesthe cooperate trainings for mentioned institutions.

NKC implemented QMS systemidentical to ISO 9001:2000 as condition for approval gained byClassification Societies; however the QMS was not certified by any thirdparty. Our partner within Gridins Group “Gridins Enterprise”, whoprovides us IRATA qualified and certified UTM operators is holding ISO9001:2000 certificate issued by Lloyd’s Register as well as IRATA trainerand operator certificate.

Our specialization is wide range of automatic and manual inspections onmetal structures (Marine & Industry) using Ultrasonic Technique &Equipment and qualified personnel, made according to any applicablestandards (ISO, EN, ASME). The following techniques are used:

P-scan for weld inspection;T-scan for corrosion mapping;Through Transmission for composite testing;TOFD for detection and sizing;Full A-scan recording for off-line processing;UTM of steel structures to determine residual thickness;UT Flaw Detection of welds.

Ultrasonic thickness measurements of any type of the vessel: bulkcarrier, general cargo, oil tanker, crude oil tanker, chemical tanker,reefer, container, ro-ro, car carrier, liquified gas carrier, passenger shipor any other special type of the vessel. Experienced inCAP/CAS, URS-31, 19, 26, 27, and in providing technicalassistance to Superintendent while repairs.
