FOR THESE REASONS- ANY GRAY, WHITE, BEIGE, CLEAR, AND BROWN CAULK FOUND ON THE ROOF, ON PERIMETER OF DOORS, PERIMETER OF ELEVATOR MACHINE ROOM/STAIR WELL (EXTERIOR), AND/OR ON THE PERIMETER OF METAL FLASHING SHALL BE TREATED AS POSITIVE FOR ASBESTOS. SEE LIST BELOW FOR EXCLUSIONS: 1. (CAULK EXCLUSIONS)-***CAULK THAT WILL BE VIEWED AS NEGATIVE FOR ASBESTOS***: •BROWN CAULK ON PERIMETER OF EXTERIOR WINDOWS: NEGATIVE FOR ASEBSTOS

2. THERE ARE VARIOUS ITEMS ON THE ROOF, NOT LIMITED TO :SUPPORT ANCHORS FOR HVAC UNIT, EXHAUST FANS, PITCH POCKETS, VENT PIPES, HVAC UNIT BRACKETS, AND ANY OTHERS THAT HAVE CONTAMINATED ROOFING MATERIAL ON ITS SURFACE. IF THERE ANY PLANS MADE TO DISPOSE ANY OF THE PRESENT ITEMS, CONSIDERATIONS SHALL BE MADE TO DISPOSE OF ANY RESIDUAL ROOFING MATERIAL LEFT ON THESE SURFACES AS ACM.

3. THERE APPEARED TO BE A RUBBER SHEET BELOW ROOF COPINGS THAT LOOKED TO BE MECHANICALLY FASTENENED IN PLACE. THE RUBBER SHEET IS NON SUSPECT FOR ASBESTOS. IF ANY ADDITONAL MATERIAL IS ENCOUNTERED DURING REMOVAL OF ROOF COPING, AND ANYWHERE ELSE ON ROOF, PLEASE STOP WORK AND CONTACT USC HAZMAT TO REASSESS.

4. IF A BUILDING MATERIAL IS NOT LISTED, DO NOT ASSUME THAT IT DOES NOT CONTAIN ASBESTOS. IT MAY NOT HAVE BEEN TESTED. FOR FURTHER INFORMATION, PLEASE CONTACT THE USC HAZMAT PROGRAM.

9. MECHANICAL UNIT STRUTS THAT ARE ATTACHED TO PARAPET WALLWILL NEED TO BE REMOVED, STORED AND REINSTALLED ONCE NEWROOFING IS COMPLETED. STRUTS TO BE FLASHED WITH NEW LIQUIDAPPLIED FLASHING.

10. NEW CONCRETE PAD AND DOORS TO BE INSTALLED AT ROOF AREASA AND D.

11. BASE FLASHING HEIGHTS WILL VARY AT SECTIONS WHERE WALLMETAL PANELS ARE TO HAVE CONSISTENT HEIGHT.

12. ROOF AREA C2 WILL NEED CONCRETE REPAIR WORK AT WALLS TOCOMPLETE NEW ROOFING INSTALLATION.

13. PULL TEST AT LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE DECK SHOULD BECONDUCTED PRIOR TO NEW ROOFING INSTALLATION.

14. CRICKETS SHOULD BE INSTALLED AT ALL CURBS THAT EXCEED 24"INCHES IN WIDTH.
