Who We Are

We are a results driven company that successfully caters to our

borrower’s needs, fosters long-standing client relationships and

GenEquity Mortgage, Inc. was founded in 2003 by Joseph

Morabito, CEO & President of Paragon Global Resources and

Mary Legate, President of GenEquity Mortgage, Inc.

Our parent company Paragon Global Resources was founded in

1987 by Joseph Morabito

Corporate headquarters for both Paragon Global Resources and

GenEquity is located in Coppell, Texas

GenEquity/Paragon maintains active global offices in Ireland,

England, France, China, and India

Paragon Global Resources relocates approximately 5,000

employees per year for Fortune 500 companies

GenEquity maintains regional offices in Dallas, TX and Rancho

Santa Margarita, CA

Executive Team

Mary Legate

President of GenEquity Mortgage

Ms. Legate is President of GenEquity Mortgage, the mortgage subsidiary of Paragon

Global Resources, Inc. Within this function, Ms. Legate is a licensed loan officer. She has

over 10 years of mortgage industry focused experience, managing all aspects of

mortgage including investor relations, compliance, production and fulfillment. Ms.

Legate is also Senior Vice President, Global Mobility Consulting for Paragon Global

Resources, Inc. and its subsidiaries. Ms. Legate has more than 30 years of relocation

industry experience. She is responsible for several functional areas at Paragon including

Human Resources and IS Solutions. Serving in the relocation industry for more than 30

years, Ms. Legate has managed all aspects of client relations and operations, starting as

a consultant and working through everything from on-site relocation centers to group

moves to managing branch operations. Ms. Legate graduated with a BBA from Stephen

F. Austin University in Texas and is a Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) and holds

the Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) designation from Worldwide ERC®.

Richard Comparato

Vice President and Managing Director, Mortgage Lending

Mr. Comparato possesses more than three decades of successful leadership of Retail

and Wholesale Production channels. Additionally, he has a solid track record of

recruiting and leading strong production teams to facilitate growth in multi-state

organizations, from coast to coast. Most recently, he was part of the senior management

team at First Horizon/MetLife Home Loans where he initially assumed duties of

President, First Tennessee Mortgage and subsequently as President, Central Region

where he lead a team of seasoned professionals in 13 states that originated more than $4

billion annually. Mr. Comparato joined GenEquity in 2013 to execute the Retail growth

strategy nationally.

Executive Team

Stephen Crispin

Vice President, Mortgage Services

Mr. Crispin joined GenEquity’s parent company, Paragon, in 1999 as a Real Estate

Services Coordinator. While at Paragon, he spearheaded the creation and management

of Paragon’s Real Estate Services group and received his Six Sigma Black Belt before

being relocated to the Dallas area to assume management of Paragon’s supply chain

management function as the Director of Business Alliances. In 2009, he assumed

management of GenEquity Mortgage and was subsequently promoted to Vice

President. Mr. Crispin began his career in relocation in 1987 and previously worked in

closing and operations for 12 years prior to joining Paragon. He holds the Certified

Relocation Professional (CRP) designation from Worldwide ERC®.

Louis Weber,

Vice President Regional Sales Manager - TX

As the Vice President, Regional Sales Manager, Mr. Weber is responsible for growing

and managing the Retail Sales Team in Texas and surrounding markets. Mr. Weber

began his mortgage banking career in 1982. He has held senior sales management

positions with Lomas and Nettleton, Wells Fargo, Regions Bank, First Horizon, and

most recently Wintrust Mortgage. He has significant experience in managing

production teams funding more than $500MM+ annually. Mr. Weber holds a master’s

degree from the University of Texas.

Richard Thomas

Vice President, Regional Sales Manager - CA

As Vice President and Regional Sales Manager, Mr. Thomas develops and manages the

growing retail mortgage lending platform for GenEquity Mortgage in the Western U.S.

Thomas is responsible for building the GenEquity mortgage operations and brand

throughout California. Thomas brings a wealth of experience to GenEquity Mortgage

including 29 years in the mortgage banking and retail lending industry. Most recently,

he was the Southern California Retail Manager with Freemont Bank and previously

held the positions of Regional Vice President with Bank of Commerce Mortgage and

President of Milestone Mortgage for ten years.

Processes

Operational activities are designed and tested to be efficient, scalable, and performance

driven; so that originators can set expectations that are EXCEEDED on a consistent

basis.

Marketing

We proactively and interactively market our producers to help them build their

production. To support individual marketing and portfolio needs, our producers are

provided company-paid subscriptions to online marketing tools like OSI Express and

customer relationship management software, BNTouch that also has integrated

marketing functionalities.

Growth and Leadership

We believe sales leadership means precise and measurable involvement in our

producers’ plans and strategies. Our branch managers also produce so they are fully

knowledgeable of the challenges faced by our sales force every day and are therefore,

better equipped to assist in problem resolution.
