Brief Overview

Ganesha Ecosphere GEM Ganesha Ecosphere (GESL) is the Largest player to

recycle PET waste in the country, with forward integration to manufacture Yarn.

24 year old Company engaged in recycling approximately 7.5 million PET waste bottles per day.

The company has two production facilities at Kanpur and Rudrapur with total installed capacity of 57,600TPA to recycle PET waste into RPSF. The company is further increasing its capacity of PET waste recycling and expects to reach capacity of 100,000 TPA by 2014.

The company achieved a sales turnover of Rs 3.8 billion for the year ended 31st March, 2012. The exports (primarily to Europe) contribute to 25% of sales.

GESL has been awarded the coveted “Silver Shield” for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the FY 2009-10.

GESL has been awarded the Best SME award by Business Today-Yes Bank recently in January 2012

Company has well streamlined network of 26 waste collection centres for procuring PET bottle waste with pan- India presence

Ganesha Enviro Management (GEM) is promoted by GESL.

GEM is the initiative undertaken by GESL to promote recycling of PET waste and thus contribute towards cleaner and green environment. This will involve the following activities : Creating awareness regarding recycling of PET waste in an

environmental friendly manner

Collection of industrial PET waste

JV’s or tie-ups with industry to collect post consumer waste

Working towards abolition of child labor in this industry

Promoting products made of recycled materials

GEM has a tie up with GESL to recycle the PET Waste collected at the GEM centers.

With an objective to ensure the recycling of each and every PET bottle GEM proposes to launch ‘Green Earth Movement’.

The objectives of Green Earth Movement is creating awareness of PET products and working towards abolishment of child labor in PET collection industry.

With an objective to ensure the recycling of each and every PET bottle GEM in association with Bisleri proposes to launch ‘Green Earth Movement’

Under this campaign the company is in the process of initiating various programs for creating awareness among the institutions and general people about hazards of PET bottle waste and need of recycling of PET bottles.

The company also aims to abolish child labor from PET collection industry. This will be done by creating a direct network of collection of PET waste from housing societies, industry, institutions and commuting places.

The company also plans to initiate programs to educate industry and society at large not to provide PET waste to traders involved in child labor and non environmental friendly activities.

It will also distribute “Green Earth” certificates to Hotels, Restaurants and Housing Societies for working towards waste collection and recycling

The company also proposes to launch various programs directed towards welfare / education of the children already involved in PET collection business who are at the bottom of the society

GESL Bisleri Association Bisleri has appointed GEM as its Exclusive PET waste recycler. Bisleri is supporting the Green Earth movement, wherein it is

helping GEM to spread the initiative towards its key accounts, and also will help to run various awareness/ educational programs towards PET Recycling.

GEM seeks to have an association with your group for collection of entire PET bottle waste directly from your premises in an organized, transparent and mutual fruitful manner at the most suitable commercial terms.

GEM will ensure that it will collect the PET bottles from your premises in an efficient manner and on a regular basis as mutually agreed.

GEM will also provide you a certificate for recycling that will certify that all PET bottles received from your premises will be 100% recycled in an eco friendly manner.
