Only Pennsylvania residents may take the GED in Pennsylvania. You must present proof ofresidence (such as a driver's license or utility bill). All test takers must know their social security

number and must present a form of government issued photo identification (example: a drivers

license, a passport, or non-driver's State Identification Card).

Please review the full listing of GED policies and requirements. Use the link for "GED Testing

    Policies" on the left.

As of July, 2009, everyone must have an appointment to take the GED at Bucks whether taking

the GED for the first time or re-taking one or more of the GED Subject Tests.

To make an appointment to take the GED: call 215-968-8466.

As of January, 2010, the GED Testing Fee must be paid in Cash or by Money Order (made

payable to BCCC). Checks will no longer be accepted.

Registration is completed as the first scheduled session. If you are retaking one of the GED

tests, you do not need to complete Registration again. Individuals only need to register

once. However, you must have taken all five Subject Tests at least once before you are permitted

to retake any one of them.

The complete GED is offered monthly at both the Main Campus in Newtown and at the Lower

Bucks Campus (LBC) in Bristol. Testing sessions are held over a two-day period, on a Monday

and Tuesday, with individual Subject Tests scheduled in the morning and afternoon. All five GED

Subject Tests are offered at each of the monthly two day sessions.

The schedule of test dates and the start times for each Subject Test are listed below.

A Visitor's Parking Permit is required on the Newtown campus. Stop at the Security Office to

receive a Visitor's Parking Permit at no cost. Driving directions to the campuses in Newtown and

Bristol can be accessed under "Quick Links" on the Bucks web site, at http://www.bucks.edu
