July 7, 2016

Greetings Gearheads!

Keep that right pedal....FLOORED!

Get your hot rod, muscle car, custom, rat rod or whatever you drive and have fun in, ready to celebrate gearheads…our day has arrived.

Since 2010, on the 2nd Friday in’July, we have our very ownspecial day. It’ called National Collector CarAppreciation Day.

This is the day set aside bythe lawmakers in Washington D.C. , to recognize the significanceof the American Car hobby in the USA.

SEMA, who watches over all forms of motorsports, from cool cars in our garages, to high end race cars in whatever series you like to follow, saw fit to lobby the politicians in D.C. to recognize our contribution to America. And contribute we do!

Our hobby/sport is alive and well. Sure it ebbs and flows as our economy does, but that is nothing new. When times are good a “hot

rodder” tends to buy more “stuff/parts” for his or her pride and joy. When it slows down, we hold back a little. Even then we stretch to make sure we get what we need to finish the latest project in the garage. Money talks in D.C.

and gearheads, we spend a lot of $$$ on these coolcars and trucks we own.

How are you celebratingour day? Car Show?Going to a cruise-in? Just taking your cool ride outfor a drive or maybe you

are driving it to work. Whatever you do, don’t let the day slip by without DRIVING YOUR COOL RIDE! That’s what it’s for.

Show us how you spend your NCCAD by posting your pictures on our Facebook page. Your not on Facebook you say, email us your pic’s and we’ll post them for you to our Facebook page, to show everyone how you spent our special day.

Do we get cake too?…LOL!
