The Gammatec GD-1A and GD-2 are lightweight, easy to use, portable densitometers for measuring the transmission density of x-ray �lm.
The operator simply zeroes the instrument on the viewer, places the �lm on the viewer, places the probe on the area of interest and reads the density on the 3 digit LCD screen.
The units have been desiged for use in on-site mobile darkrooms, laboratories and o�ces. The GD-1A has a cable and pencil type probe, whilst the GD-2 has a built-in probe.
Both units have state-of-the-art electronics, zero button for quick zero, backlit display and "Hold" function for holding the last reading.
The units have a density measuring range from 0.00D to 4.20D with an accuracy of ±0,03D. Both the GD-1A and GD-2 software is programmable and can be calibrated by using the keypad, as opposed to having to open the unit to carry out calibration adjustments.
The instruments comply with all relevant international standards.
