Brentwood AcademyBrentwood Academy is a 6-12 independent school located in Brentwood, Tennessee, just south of Nashville. They have a traditional style, using red and blue as their primary school colors. We brought different shades of tan into their brand to help soften the harshness of the red and blue. One of our main goals throughout all of the design work is to give their brand a sense of tradtion, trust and high academic prowess. This is reflected inthe use of a strong serif font with accents of san-serif as balance. No matter what medium, Brentwood Academy’s brand is communicated with excellence and strength.
BA WebsiteThe Brentwood Academy websiteagain uses different shades of tan and khaki to help soften the hard blue’s and reds. The site is designedto communicate the school’s mission and values through photos and keywords. Toward the bottom of the page different tabs allow constiuents to browse current happenings at theschool. The site is finally marked bythe large red BA shield logo in the top right of the page.

BA Fundraising InitiativeBrentwood Academy was looking for away to better market and brandtheir fundraising efforts. A logo was created by illustrating the iconic belltower thats sits on the schools campus. The continuation of the serif font from the official Brentwood Academy brand was used. Thenew logo and theme is used in publications, web elements and videos helping solidify a consitant and fresh fundraising message.
Micro-siteThe new brand was fleshed on the giving section of the BA website. Three distinct areas are noted by large red buttons, annual giving, campus renovation and endowment. These buttons denote the three primary fundraisingefforts. The “BA Forward” brand is designed to complement the overall Brentwood Academy brand.
MagazineThis sixty-page magazine is the largest publication produced by Brentwood Academy. The look and design of the magazine help to further solidy the BA brand using style guide approved fonts and colors. However there is a little bit more liberty taken with the design inorder to give certain articles and spreads thepersonality needed to communicate the story.

Capital CampaignsEach capital campaign is developed with a theme and goal. In order to rally constiuents around this goal, a theme is created to help drive home the message. the two campaigns shown here demonstrate the simplicity and clarity of a simple color scheme, logo and identity of the organization represented.
Capital Campaigns
Herman CainWorking with the Tennessee for Herman Cain organization, we helped create a large amount of promotional materials to help promote Mr. Cain’s political agenda. To the right is a website comp that Goodman Creative designed and presented to the campaign to serve as the official campaign website.
I Heart JapanAfter the Japanesse earthquake in the early part of 2011, GCpartnered with Harvest Church to help promote a benifit concert to aid relief. The audience was primarly teenagers. Red was used as the primary color denoting love and the red circle that is representative in the Japanesse flag.

Jerry Irwin
Harvest ChurchHarvest Church is a pencostal church that was looking to rebrand their church. Using warm browns, oranges and yellows help give off the “harvesty” feel and the feel of fire (being a pencostal church, the holy spirit is often has the reputation of fire from the book of Acts).
Mount Paran Church in Atlanta is well-known for their music ministry. We helped design the cover art for a recent worship project.
Ministry PromotionOver the years different ministries have contracted with GC to help promote their ministry events. Here are a few examples of what we have done over the past several years.
Interior BrandingBrentwood Academy recently went through a campus renovation project. After most of the construction was done we worked to help solidify the Brentwood Academy brand by installing different brand relevant graphics and displays around the school.
