Introduction• Opinions about what good music and

cinematography is have changed with time.• In general people nowadays don’t really listen to

music our parents listened to nor watch movies our parents loved to watch.

• Although we, young generation, often re-watch good old films we used to watch with our parents long time ago. Also, some songs we listen to sometimes catch our parents’ attention.

Reasons of these changes:

1. Active development of audio and video equipment, new technologies and inventions.

2. Dissemination of cultural features from society to society.

3. People's desire to develop life aspects by changing adopted standards in music and film industry.

Reasons why our parents loved the

movies:• They are very instructive. Our parents got to

know many different things about the world thanks to these films.

• They are civilized. Old films do not contain foul language nor obscene scenes and expressions.

• Actors as well as directors of the films were extremely talented and could make fascinating and great films our parents loved so much.

The Lord of the Rings• Film trilogy consisting of

three epic fantasy adventure films.

Pirates of the Caribbean

• Series of fantasy adventure films.

The Twilight Saga• Series of five romance fantasy films.

Harry Potter• British-American film series.

Step Up• Series of

American dance/romance films.

The Avengers• American superhero film.

Reasons why we love the movies:

• They are spectacular and large-scale. Today's movies are often made with special effects for more realistic picture and a greater impact on the perception of the film audience.

• They are interesting and have complicated plots.• They have attractive men and women acting in

them.

Conclusion

• Despite differences in likes and preferences we as well as our parents have one thing in common – we all with all our hearts love our favorite bands, songs, films and TV-shows.

• And this is what unites us.
