For Fen Li, her passion for the old-world-art of French beaded flowers began over a decade ago. She had just come home from the Bead and Button show. Feeling inspired, she scoured the Internet for beading projects and began teaching herself the art of French beaded flowers, which originated in France in the 1500’s. Bead Flora & Jewels is born. Fen uses only the highest quality Japanese or Czech seed beads. “The beads, on their own, are nothing. Yet, stringing them on wire and then forming them into petals, they transform into individual pieces of beaded flower art.” Once only owned by French and English Royalty, Fen’s innovations in French beaded flower techniques have transformed this old- world-art into modernized accessories such as hair adornments and jewelry. Bead Flora & Jewels is most known for the extravagant bridal bouquets that are
