OBJECTIVE
The GBI Facilitator Course is a 3-day training course that covers all aspects of the GBI cer�fica�on process for buildings, including all the tools and applica�on procedures.
The GBI Facilitator Course is open to all. Comple�on of the full course is required for par�cipants to qualify for the GBI Facilitator Examina�on.A par�cipant must a�end not less than nine (9) modules of the GBI Facilitator Course to complete the course.
PRE-REQUISITES TO BE GBI FACILITATORS
Par�cipants who intend to be GBI Facilitators must fulfill the following pre-requisites:
1. A registered professional member of Board of Architects, Board of Engineers or Board of Quan�ty Surveyors; OR A recognised degree in architecture, engineering, quan�ty surveying or other building related disciplines as approved by the GBI Accredita�on Panel; OR Other building prac��oners with minimum of 5 years relevant working experience acceptable to the GBI Accredita�on Panel; AND2. Successfully completed the GBI Facilitator Course.
A par�cipant is qualified to sit for the examina�on upon compliancewith items 1 and 2, and upon passing the examina�on, may apply to beregistered as a GBI Facilitator.
EXAMINATION
Only those who intend to be GBI Facilitators need to sit for the examina�on, comprising a one hour mul�ple choice ques�on (MCQ)examina�on; and a group project presenta�on. The pre-requisite for the examina�on is 75% of the course a�endance.
