Safe, healthy and environment friendlyBicycles are among the healthiest and cleanest means of transportation in themselves. However, our dedication to health and environment issues stretches even further than that. We use water based paints only and our pack-aging and promotion materials are made out of FSC certified paper. Besides partnering in Veilig Verkeer Nederland (road safety) and Natuurmonumenten (nature preservation) Gazelle sponsors various charity organisations, includ-ing Alpe d’HuZes, an annual cycling event aimed at collecting money for KWF Kankerbestrijding (anti-cancer society).

Adjusted to your requirementsYou can enjoy your bicycle most when it is tailored to you. Every human body is diff erent. Besides frame size, proper adjustment of saddle, handlebar and grips is extremely important. For comfortable cycling, also on longer trips, you need to be able to choose between diff erent seating positions. Gazelle off ers you the benefi t of easy individual adjustment at all points where the bicycle supports your body.

The correct cycling positionThe geometry of our bicycles is keyed to the intended use. For short rides to school, work or supermarket, a relaxed upright cycling position is preferable in terms of comfort (A). For longer trips, daily commuting or touristic cycling it is more pleasant to bend forward a little. This position makes you faster and more versatile and keeps you from catching too much wind (B). If you’re the athletic type, a road racer or mountain bike will give you an even more sporty position (C).

A B C ... Correct saddleGazelle chooses saddles that are keyed to the intended use of the bicycle. A special vacuum moulding system assures that our saddles are 100% waterproof and on average are 10% lighter than standard saddles.

... Safety locksAll Gazelle city and hybrid bicycles are equipped with ART approved safety locks.

... Adjustable grips and stemWith a simple Allen key you can adjust the ergonomic Gazelle grips to your own requirements, even after many years of use. This feature allows you to prevent painful and tingling hands. For the stems there are three types of adjustability to choose from − with tools, by hand without parental lock (Shuttle) and by hand with parental lock (Switch).

... Integrated lightsGazelle makes bicycle light systems much less vulnerable by integrating the front light into the front mudguard (FenderVision and FenderLight). The B-Vision rear light is partially integrated into the rear carrier. SlimVision is a totally integrated rear light. This recent innovation makes for a solid and safe rear light system with the added benefi t of sideways visibility.

... Comfortable suspensionOur suspension front fork can be easily adapted to your personal requirements by means of an adjusting knob that regulates damping. The suspension travel can also be quickly adjusted using an Allen key.

Easy operationThe clear display shows the battery capacity and most Gazelle e-bikes will also inform you of the speed and distance covered. Power-assistance is set by the push of a button: the battery-saving ECO position or the more serious BOOST position. More than 100 million charge points!The Gazelle e-bike battery is easy to take out, bringing every socket within reach as suitable charge point. Which is more than 100 million in the Netherlands alone. Alterna-tively, charge the battery via the 12V connection in your car. The sophisticated Lithium-Ion battery off ers an unprecedented long life and does not lose its power, even after a long time of inactivity. So you can always and instantly be on your way.

Power-assisted pedalling technologyGazelle e-bikes off ers you a selection of fi ve models, ranging from basic to deluxe.
