MATERIAL. Wood.For its wood and wood-aluminium win-

dows, GAULHOF…R exclusively uses larch and spruce wood felled in winter from sustainably managed domestic forests. The high altitudes combined with long winters ensure that the alps larch – the wood we use – grows particularly slowly. With its exceptionally high gross density, strength and resistance, alps larch is the har-dest coniferous wood in …urope.

This valuable wood is delivered directly from nearby saw mills. The gentle process of controlled drying is performed by GAULHOF…R itself. Starting with the production of the basic profiles, the whole manufacturing process for the wooden range takes place at GAULHOF…R. Barely any other manufacturers do this; howe-ver, this is the only way to ensure the high levels of quality we demand

Wood-aluminium.GAULHOF…R also exclusively uses the best

quality, top-notch material for its aluminium ran-ge. The aluminium frames made from extruded models are particularly dimensionally stable, level and resilient: the ideal prerequisite for out-standing design and appearance. It‘s therefore ideal for the first-rate powder-coated GAULHOF…R protection system.

uPVC-aluminium.The comprehensive range of GAULHOF…R

aluminium colours and décors offers almost infinite diversity of design. Also popular as an alternative to the uPVC colour range.

uPVC.uPVC, used the way that GAULHOF…R uses

it, is not only easy to clean and maintenance-free, but also environmentally friendly and resource-saving. The window units are cons-tructed in such a way that, at the end of their lifetime, they can be recycled in their entirety in a responsible recycling process.

Fully covered,fully stable.GAULHOF…R fittings are technical

high end products and are full of intelligent features: anti-close device, anti-mishandling device, rolling mushroom pins for the best possible ease of use, anti-friction coating and highly stable material come as stan-dard. A standard, stable mushroom pin locking on the low part of the item, which makes levering out of the frame more dif-ficult, gives GAULHOFER windows and doors excellent security characteristics.

The new, fully covered GAULHOF…R solution offers a very attractive design wi-thout visible fittings inside. Sealing around the whole sash overlap additionally inhibits the ingress of humid indoor air into the rebate – a technological asset against trou-blesome condensation. With a sash weight of up to 150 kg, large windows are possible even at great installation depths and with heavy triple glazing.

The new, fully covered fitting is availa-ble for all GAULHOF…R windows; for wood NATUR…LIN… 92 and wood-aluminium FUSI-ONLIN… 108, it comes as standard. …legance and great ease of use at no extra cost. However, the visible standard fitting also guarantees a high level of functionality and easy operation as well as a load-bearing capacity for a sash weight of up to 130 kg. For very heavy sashes and glazing, a ‚mam-moth‘ version is offered, which has a sash load bearing capacity of up to 180 kg.

85 mm or 91 mm for the new uPVC lines) give GAUL-

HoFER windows extraordinary frame insulation values

(Uf). wood and wood-aluminium windows make full

use of their natural material characteristics – such as

excellent insulation and hygroscopic material behavi-

our, which has a positive effect on indoor climate. The

convenient, large installation depths permit the integ-

ration of diverse glass constructions, the combination

of highly insulating triple glazing and noise-protection

The sophisticated GAULHOF…R Audiostop®

keeps noise, cold, wind and rain outside, thanks

to three circumferential seals. The central seal is

perfectly positioned with regard to the 10-degree

isothermal curve so that the cold outdoor climate

is efficiently separated from the warm and humid

indoor climate. This prevents the pesky formation of

condensation in the rebate area. Another plus point

for your window‘s excellent insulation.

ENERGYLINE PowerDur.Strong without steel!

For GAULHOFER uPVC windows.

The GAULHoFER uPVC range comes in all sys-

tems without steel reinforcement*.** – and that‘s

in the frame as well as the sash! The specially deve-

loped glass-fibre reinforced Powerdur bars made of

high-strength uPVC do not form any thermal bridges

and therefore also guarantee considerably improved

insulating properties. Furthermore, the considerably

lighter-weight construction also offers many bene-

fits. Unlike conventional steel reinforcements, the

surrounding Powerdur stabiliser enables an optimal

screw connection at any fixation point.

The homogeneous extremely resilient bon-

ding of the glass strip and the sash frame ensures

that the sash always maintains its structurally

defined shape. Thanks to the new and force-fit

connection at the edge, it is both dimensionally

stable and torsion-resistant to a high extent –

even in comparison with other bonded systems.

No need for troublesome readjustment; this lower

maintenance requirement continuously makes

life easier for you. The way it is attached also op-

timises the window‘s heat insulation, as the con-

ventional steel reinforcement in the casement is

CARE INFORMATION.

Regular care of your windows is important to ensure continuous beau-

ty, function and operational comfort. Please note that abrasive cleaners as well

as household detergents and glass cleaners with aggressive ingredients such

as alcohol and ammonium chloride are not suitable for cleaning.

wood is a vivid material and requires diligent care to ensure intactness

of coating. The GAULHoFER care set grants perfect care. It contains a special

care milk (application 1x per year indoors and, depending on weathering, 1-2x

per year outdoors).

Plastic windows grant very easy care; however, they should be regular-

ly cleaned. The GAULHoFER care set for plastic windows grants perfect care. It

contains a special intensive cleaner and conserving agent for care of white and

foil-covered surfaces.

Aluminium shells are cleaned with cold water and slight addition of

soap or a mild dishwashing agent. In case of anodised aluminium, only pH-

neutral agents must be used. The surface should be cold (max. 25°C).

only use soft cleaning cloths for glass cleaning so that the panes are

not scratched. Please ensure that the glass cleaner does not contact the coa-

ted surface.
