Case study: Sheffield-Avesta “Steelbridge”
The "Steelbridge" transport system between Swedish and British steel mills, Avesta-Sheffield was developed as an integrated solution to handle the transfer of 750,000 tpa. Slabs and coils moved between Sheffield and Avesta in central Sweden, distributed through Immingham.
