GATE VALVE according to API 600

Construction

Gate valve according to API 600 have construction, which satisfy request of API 600 standards. Gate valve body is consisted of body and bonnet, connected with bolts (BB). Gate valve manipulation is accomplished with axial movement of threaded stem with outside screw and yoke bushing.

Connections can be made by flanged or with butt welding ends. Flanges are integral with body. Wedge is made in shape of stud, elastic, connected with stem firm and safe, leaded with T chamfer trough body during whole travel. When servicing this connection can be separated.

Body material is carbon or alloy steel resistant on rised temperature, as is in list of materials, inner parts (Trim) are in accordance with API 600 standards, or on demands of purchaser. Seating surface in body and on wedge are made and form from quality stainless materials or stellit directly welded on basic material. Stem sealing is accomplished with stem packing that is made from quality wreath based on pure graphite with large pressure and temperature resistance, also as resistance on chemical aggressive fluids. If is necessary, sealing surfaces can be tightened during work with bolts for gland tightening.

Application

Gate valve can be applied on all pipes and plant with non-aggressive fluids for body materials listed in list of materials, in oil, petrochemical and similar industries. Materials listed in list of materials a specificied in ASTM standards, and for them pressure/temperature rate are according with ASME/ANSI B16.5 standard. Maximal allowable differential pressure on wedge is equal to nominal pressure. Gate valve can be operated with handwheel and with other operating devices, as is electric, hydraulic or pneumatic actuator.

Testing

Et the end of production process for every gate valve final testing is performed. In this testing functionality in manipulating and in sealing are tested. This testing is performed according with API 598 norms and standards for testing. All testing are recorded according with established and certified procedures of System for insurance of quality according with ISO 9001.
