Energy Policy Energy Policy

Energy is an essential driving force for achieving social and economic development and an improve quality of life. Energy resources in Myanmar are biomass, hydropower, coal, crude oil, natural gas, geothermal, wind, solar, bio-fuel and biogas etc.

• Data providers report to the Ministry daily, weekly & monthly data on production, consumption, exports and refinery intake of crude oil &

condensate

• Report of refinery throughput, stocks and consumption data of petroleum products

• Imports data are primarily collected on monthly basis

• Data providers provide the data to the Ministry by way of hard copy and fax

• Data providers report to the Ministry the previous month data (not later than the 10th day of the current month)
