Sparking Your Interest in GasolineStation Fire Protection.Modern automobile fueling areas are designedwith high-speed self-service pumps, enablingcustomers to fuel their vehicles faster than everbefore. However, the same modern equipmentthat makes fueling quick and easy also makesthe fueling area more susceptible to fire.

Accidents do happen. Customers might driveaway without returning the nozzle to thedispenser or use the dispensing equipmentincorrectly resulting in a fuel spill. Modernhigh volume pumps can discharge a largequantity of flammable liquid onto the fuelingarea very quickly. Burning cigarettes, runningengines, sparks and other heat sources couldignite flammable liquids or vapors in thefueling area.

Even in Windy Conditions, theATTENDANT™ II System isDesigned to Reach the Fire Source.Outdoor fire suppression systems face a uniqueproblem – overcoming the effects of windyconditions.

Wind increases the intensity of a fire by feedingit oxygen. It also affects the firefighting agentdischarge. Since National Weather Bureaustatistics indicate that the average outdoorwind condition is nearly 10 miles per hour, wind is definitely a factor to consider wheninstalling any outdoor fire suppression system.

The ATTENDANT II system has been specificallydesigned and tested for windy conditions.

THE "original" ATTENDANT gasolinestation fire suppression system continuesto offer premium grade protection:

Factory pressurized DOT rated cylindersavailable in 35 and 75 lb (15.9 and34.0 kg) capacitiesBC rated dry chemical agentNozzle heights ranging from 7 to 11 ft(2.1 to 3.4 m)Agent tanks are mounted under the canopySuitable for installations where the canopydoes not cover the parking area–40 oF to +120 oF (–40 oC to +49 oC)operating rangeUL listedTested at 10 mph wind conditions

Introducing the ATTENDANT™ II FireSuppression System. The ATTENDANT II gasoline station system ison duty 24/7 to help protect your customers andyour investment.
