Another Production Enhancement Solution from Weatherford
GAS LIFT SYSTEMS
Weatherford is the leading single-source provider of artificial lift systems
worldwide and the only company to offer a completely integrated suite of
products, services and system solutions for virtually every form of lift.
INTELLIGENT SOLUTIONSWe know and understand artificial lift
processes, reservoir dynamics and
production economics. Our Artificial
Lift Technical Specialists listen to
customers’ needs and requirements,
then carefully analyze well data, systemcharacteristics, equipment capabilities, related
costs, and other critical factors to determine
the best system for optimum production
performance. Should more than one
system and solution fit the overall
criteria, we systematically evaluateevery aspect to ensure the final solution
is the one that provides the highest return for

Minimal moving parts
The primary requirement for gas lift applications is an available and economical supply of pressurizedgas. In a typical gas lift system, compressed gas is injected into the casing tubing annulus throughgas lift mandrels and valves into the production string The injected gas lowers the hydrostatic

as lift is an artificial lift process that most clearly
resembles the natural flow process and basically operates
as an enhancement to or extension of that process. When
high pressure natural gas is available either through nearby
wells or a compression source, gas lift is typically the
preferred form of artificial lift.
Weatherford's McMurry-Macco™ Gas Lift Systems include
a complete portfolio of value-added products, services and
solutions for production enhancement and ultimate reservoir
recovery. Every gas lift design is complemented by anextensive range of compatible equipment and capabilities,
technical and field support, and in-depth analysis programs.
From design and well evaluation to valve spacing and
troubleshooting, Weatherford Gas Lift Systems have
proven successful in providing solutions with exceptional
economic value and operating efficiencies.

GAS LIFT VALVESStanding at the forefront of technology, Weatherford's McMurry-
Macco™ gas lift valves are used for intermittent or continuous
gas lift, and tubing or casing flow applications. A complete line
of wireline-retrievable and tubing-retrievable gas lift valves is
included. Injection-, differential-, and production-pressure
operated valves, orifice valves and specific application valves
such as pilot and constant flow valves complement this extensive
valve offering.
This comprehensive product line is available in 1-in. and 1½-in.
sizes with selected 5/8-in. OD models for slimhole applications. In
addition, all valves are offered in various materials and packing
options to match specific downhole requirements.
SPECIAL APPLICATION EQUIPMENTSpecially designed slimhole mandrels that connect to packoff
assemblies or coiled tubing strings are offered. Weatherford's
packoff equipment is made up of retrievable isolation tools set
in the tubing string and commonly used for the
installation of concentric gas lift valves, or for
isolating holes in the tubing string.
A complete line of chemical injection and waterflood
systems is also available. Chemical injection valves
are designed to control the entry of chemicals

GAS LIFT MANDRELSAs a world leader in gas lift mandrel manufacturing,
Weatherford offers an extensive family of wireline-retrievable
side pocket mandrels and tubing-retrievable mandrels. Each
family features 1-in. and 1½-in. ID pocket profiles and
includes both oval and round body designs. Configurations
and models range from forged and machined pocket designs to
high pressure solid body, and special clearance applications.
Each model can be configured with a variety of porting options
including annular, tubing, side-string, bypass, waterflood, and
chemical-treating injection.
KICKOVER TOOLS
Weatherford manufactures a full line of kickover tools used inconjunction with wireline to selectively install or retrieve control
equipment from sidepocket mandrels equipped with an orienting
sleeve. The KOT®
tool features no pinning between runs. This
unique feature allows quicker valve installation plus offers
wireline operators unlimited attempts at removing or installing
the valve without having to come out of the well.
COMMUNICATION AND ISOLATION DEVICES
As essential components to gas lift systems,Weatherford offers a completely integrated line of
communication and isolation devices in both 1-in. and
1½-in. OD models. Dummy valves, equalizing dummy
