to keep the audiences attention!

Dynamism: 3.5/5

Heather could’ve been more emotive while speaking as compared to Ken Robinson who

was very relatable and human.

Page 5: Ganser sam ted_public_speaking

What strengthened Heather’s speech?

The images behind her presentation were simple, clean,

and unobtrusive to the points she was making.

Page 6: Ganser sam ted_public_speaking

Ken Robinson was able to capture his

audiences attention with humor and observations on

previous speakers.

Page 7: Ganser sam ted_public_speaking

Good humor was kept throughout while explaining serious subjects.

This keeps an audiences attention!

Dynamics

Ken Robinson’s body language was open

and inviting. My only gripe is that I’d like to

see more tonal fluctuation.

Page 10: Ganser sam ted_public_speaking

Simplicity is Key!

Mr. Robinson proves this with images that don’t overshadow

his good performance.

Page 11: Ganser sam ted_public_speaking

Both speakers maintained good

pacing.

Page 12: Ganser sam ted_public_speaking

Both speakers sparked thought into the audiences heads. They didn’t dumb down any material

to express their views.

Page 13: Ganser sam ted_public_speaking

Both speakers remained positive even after making minor mistakes and continued on

with confidence.

What Have I Learned?

The best thing I’ve taken out of these

two exceptional speakers is to not be

afraid to make mistakes. We are all

human!
